On General Hospital, Jason may have saved Britt’s life in the woods, but he may also have made things harder. Britt told Joss that Anna tried to kill her, that Jason witnessed it, and that Anna was unhinged and dangerous. Meanwhile, Jason went back to the scene and started cleaning up the evidence, putting himself in an awkward spot between protecting Anna and backing up Britt.

Key Takeaways

  • Jason witnessed Anna nearly kill Britt in the woods.
  • Britt turned to Joss because she believes Anna remains dangerous.
  • Jason believes Anna needs help rather than punishment and removed evidence from the scene.
  • His attempt to protect Anna may make Britt’s story harder to prove.

Britt Has Jason but Maybe Not Much Else

Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) story is terrifying. Anna (Finola Hughes) brought her into the woods, listened to Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) voice in her head, and nearly fired on her before Jason (Steve Burton) stepped in. Britt has every reason to want someone to take that seriously, especially when she believes Anna could come after her again.

The good news is that Jason saw what happened. He knows Anna was armed, knows she was hallucinating, and knows Britt believed her life was in danger. That makes him the strongest person Britt has in her corner, even if he is not waving a foam finger for Team Britt.

The problem is what Jason did next. After getting Anna home, he returned to the woods and removed evidence from the scene. That does not mean Britt has no case, but it could make her account harder to verify if anyone asks what happened there.

Jason Is Protecting Anna at Britt’s Expense

Jason sees Anna as someone who needs help, not punishment. He told her Peter was a manifestation of her fears and believed she would not have killed Britt in the end. That may explain why his instinct was to protect Anna from the consequences of a breakdown rather than preserve the scene.

Britt is looking at this from the other side. She was the one staring down a gun, and she told Joss (Eden McCoy) that Anna is running the PCPD while hearing voices that say Britt’s family is dangerous. Having Jason clean up afterward is not the kind of detail that makes Britt feel safer.

Jason may think he is helping Anna survive the worst night of her life. He may also have made it harder for Britt to prove just how bad that night was. If Britt needs protection now, Jason could wind up being both her best witness and the guy who made the evidence trail disappear.
