The GH spoilers recap for Friday, September 30, 2022, features Spencer Cassadine and his hard-knock life in a real jail.
It’s no more Spring Ridge for Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Instead, he’s in Pentonville now where he can’t even get a prison uniform that fits. And there are guys stealing his food and whatever he buys at the commissary. It also seems he hadn’t even had any visitors yet until Uncle Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) showed up and was appalled by the boy’s appearance.

Victor was also surprised that Spencer only asked about Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) at first because Ava is tied to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and he really wanted to know how Trina was. Sadly, none of his friends have come by to give him any news. Victor also wanted Spencer to allow Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to visit him, but Spencer said no. Later, Spencer had a physical altercation in the library and was knocked out.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) woke in ecstasy still beaming over their first night in bed together. Then, a text from Charlotte Cassadine brought Valentin down as he explained to Anna that she has no idea she’s been kidnapped and wants to know why Papa won’t visit. Anna promised him that they would bring her home.
Later, they went to breakfast at the Metro Court, where Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) saw them holding hands and congratulated them on making it official. When Nina brought up Charlotte, it looked as if a light bulb went off in Valentin’s head. Once Nina was gone, he informed Anna that Nina was their ticket for Charlotte access. Anna did not seem pleased with the idea.
Over at General Hospital, Ava prepared for her release after nearly a month but first thanked Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) for being honest with her about her’s and Nikolas’s alibi for the night she was attacked. Elizabeth then assured Ava that Nik loves her.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) wasn’t happy with Nikolas at all, especially when Nik told him he had no business going to his wife about the alibi behind his back. Nik then accused Finn of not really caring about Elizabeth at all and told him that she’s messed up because of him. This caused the two men to try to beat each other at the nurses’ station, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had to break things up and take her nephew aside.
When it came time for Ava to leave, Nik rushed to her room to take her back to Wyndemere, but she decided to take Nina up on her offer and go home with her instead. Nina was pleased as punch, and so are we because this could be fun.
Finally, it was almost time for Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) big Savoy debut, and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was a nervous wreck while all Chase wanted to do was have sex.
Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was also excited about the big musical debut happening the same night she is using the back room for a poker game. She asked Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) if he wanted in, but Sonny wasn’t so sure.
