The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, September 29, 2022, features Damian Spinelli admitting something to Sam McCall that was rather shocking.
For nearly the entire year, Sam (Kelly Monaco), Super Detective dating Super Cop Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), has been trying to figure out what Damian (Bradford Anderson) has really been up to, but she couldn’t manage to do it. Instead, Spinelli had to tell her all of it himself and it was a doozy.

As Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) had figured out, Spinelli has gotten himself in quite a bit of trouble and could go to jail for a very long time if anyone ever figures out that he hacked a whole lot of people. In fact, he told Sam that he hacked everyone on the planet who has any sort of online identity.
He was so sad when Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) left him and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) died again that he turned to dating apps and none of them worked, so he created his own and broke many laws. Sam was shocked but was also dismayed when Spinelli then told her that Cody had coerced him into making Britt Westbourne his match and he believes he did it for nefarious reasons.
Meanwhile, Cody had it out with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) over at Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) place and it ended with Maxie and Felicia suggesting the men get a DNA test.
Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) excused himself from that conversation to meet his cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey) at the hospital, where he seemed forced into giving an unsuspecting patient a weird injection.
Although both Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had no idea that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was busy having Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) tortured in a back room, they both did their best to save the man from Sonny’s wrath. Well, Michael may have had an inkling.
Michael tried to make Sonny feel guilty for being the kind of man who would go after someone innocent and do terrible things to them, while Josslyn made the logical argument that Dex would have been covered in blood when he came upon her and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) if he had been the one who stabbed Ava. Dante tried to make that same argument with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Before Jordan met with Dante, she still had to deal with a neurotic and angry Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who gave every reason why she should not tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) the truth, basically confirming that he is Trina Robinson’s father. She was right in that it would hurt both Trina and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) too much, but Jordan warned her that it won’t be pretty if Curtis discovers the secret on his own.
Over at the hospital, Trina was shocked when Ava told her that she is closing the gallery for safety’s sake and then presented her with a fellowship at the Port Charles Art Museum. Trina was not happy to realize that Curtis was behind it and told her he shouldn’t have gone behind her back. Curtis admitted he was just doing it to protect her.
