GH Spoilers Recap For September 28: Maxie Opens Her Big Mouth With Cody

The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 28, 2022, features Maxie giving away the game as she was always expected to do.

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) knew it was only a matter of time until Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) managed to tell Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) all about Mac’s relationship with Dominique Taub Baldwin (Shell Danielson) and they were right because parents do know their children well.

While trying to enjoy a night at home with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), Cody showed up because he had his own suspicions and called her “Sis.” This prompted Maxie to tell him how relieved she was that he now knows Mac might be his dad and Cody admitted he was bluffing to see what she would say.

Maxie then went on to tell Cody everything she knew about Mac and Dominique’s relationship, and Cody acted as if he didn’t want any of this to be true. Maxie then asked him why he seemed to want to think that Leopold Taub was his dad, and Cody had no answer for her.

Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was also at Maxie’s place, but he made a quick getaway to the hospital to check on Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). When he got there, he ran into Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). As they talked, Spinelli finally confessed that A-he was still in love with Maxie and B-he was the owner of Society Setups. This all left Sam mighty perplexed.

General Hospital Recap: Sonny’s Not Playing With Dex

Any part of Mike the Bartender left Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as he returned to form in all his glory while he got his goons to torture Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in the back of his money-laundering restaurant that never has any customers. He demanded to know why Dex started working for him as Dex tried to keep his cover and kept giving Sonny the same lines he’s given him since he first applied for a job.

Meanwhile, when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) realized that Dex was missing, his first thought was to try Sonny. Father and son sparred while an associate of Selina Wu (Lydia Look) threatened to cut Dex (literally) in the back room. Sonny was quite curious as to why Michael was so interested in Dex as it looked as if Dex was contemplating ratting Michael out.

Over at the PCPD, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) insisted to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Dex could not be The Hook, but admitted she did recall hearing the same clanking sound in the alley behind Charlie’s that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) said he heard. She remembered Dex’s dog tags, but still didn’t believe he was a killer.

GH Spoilers Recap: Secrets About Trina

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seemed to overstep his bounds when he scolded Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for arriving at the hospital to see Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) on her own. It turned out she had Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) with her for protection, and Curtis felt stupid. After Ava and Trina went back to Ava’s room, Curtis and Taggert agreed to guard Trina together.

Trina was annoyed with Curtis and told Ava all about it, but she also told Ava about being angry at Cameron Webber (William Lipton) for keeping the truth about Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) feelings for her a secret. After Trina left, Curtis asked Ava to fire Trina for her own protection, and Ava agreed to do it.

Over in Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, Trina was a hot topic again as Jordan came right out and asked Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) if Curtis was Trina’s real father. Portia did her best to deny everything, but Jordan told her she remembered what she said in that basement last year and that she heard her on the phone talking about genetic testing. Portia still defended herself, but Jordan wasn’t buying any of what she was selling.
