GH Spoilers Recap For October 4: Diane Remembers The Hook Is A Woman

The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 4, 2022, features Diane Miller finally waking from her week-long surgery with quite a memory of what happened when she was attacked.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) was taken off her ventilator and quickly regained consciousness acting as if she was never hooked at all. She was so spry she was up for lots of visitors, including Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

After thinking about it for a bit, Diane remembered Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was there right before the attack and after the attack, but she did manage to see that The Hook is a woman about her own height and that woman was wearing jangling bracelets. Diane did not see her face but Robert and Dante agreed this changes the whole case.

When Sonny learned The Hook was female, he hightailed it over to his restaurant, where he saw that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had already reasoned with his knife-wielding hitman and rescued a freezing Dex.

General Hospital Recap: Valentin’s Day Without Anna

Before Michael came to Dex’s rescue, he had a meeting with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and was stunned when Valentin asked him to return to ELQ and help run it. Valentin explained that he had other pressing matters, and if they ran things together, Michael could attend to his own off-the-job issues. This seemed intriguing to Michael.

Next, Valentin got to play silent enforcer for his father when he showed up outside Kelly’s to stare down Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had just ordered Nikolas to divorce Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), and Nikolas defiantly said no. Then, Valentin whipped out the confession Nikolas had written out that he somehow got a hold of. Victor was very angry and threatened to kill Nikolas if he didn’t divorce his wife, as Valentin nodded. Finally, Nikolas agreed to their demands.

GH Spoilers Recap: Ava Taunts Ryan

For some reason, Ava decided to use her first day out of the hospital to pay a visit to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) at Spring Ridge and catch him up on everything that’s been going on in her life.

When Ryan heard Ava was hooked, the voice in his head was jealous of whoever did this because only he should be allowed to stab the woman he loves. Ava then got to talking about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and told Ryan all about how she somehow disappeared right as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was exonerated.

The voice in Ryan’s head did not believe for one minute that Esme was in Europe like Ava mentioned. He knew she would never abandon him and Port Charles, and he was right. Lo and behold, Esme showed up right outside Kelly’s to listen to Victor and Nikolas spar over Ava and the confession.
