The GH spoilers recap for Friday, October 21, 2022, features Carly Corinthos taking care of the problem concerning her mother’s grave — the one she never visited once in 20 years.
All Carly (Laura Wright) wanted was a trip to Aruba for a leadership conference, but instead, she got her own abbreviated and less eventful Nixon Falls story where everything went her way in the end cause she’s Carly. Yes, she was forced to dig up Virginia Benson and have her cremated, but she got a lovely walk on the beach and the chance to scatter her ashes into the ocean from a cliff.
She even got Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) smiling brightly by her side cheering her on and telling her how fantastic she is through the whole thing. Soon, they get to go back to Port Charles where Enlightened Carly will continue spitting nails at Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) without informing her that she had twins and one of them is Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
On closer look, it’s easy to see that someone who looks exactly like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was in that drone video shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Was it doctored? Was it a mask? Or, could Alex Devane (also Finola Hughs) be alive somewhere since her body fell off The Haunted Star and was never found?
Either way, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) wanted Anna arrested right away and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) feigned pain and heartbreak at the idea that Lucy could be dead. Later, Anna rummaged through her car and finally found the clothing the shooter was wearing along with her gun. Johann (Max Decker) did his job very well rifling through Anna’s things earlier this week.

At GH, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) fretted about Lucy when Robert rushed in with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) examined her and determined she will be just fine, so Holly asked for some tea and whiskey at the Metro Court.
Later, Austin had another encounter with his cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey), who once again warned him that neither of them has a choice regarding what they are told to do.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was in complete detective mode trying to figure out how Holly got the to Quartermaine boathouse, but all Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) wanted to talk about was his singing career.
While Chase admitted to Ned Quartermaine that he’d rather be a cop again than sing, Brook Lynn set up time at a recording studio, made a deal with Linc Brown (Dan Buran), and deleted an email about Chase’s Port Charles Police Department reinstatement.
