The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 12, 2022, have big bad Nikolas Cassadine imprisoning bigger bad Esme Prince while Lucy Coe finds herself the odd woman out.
Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was sure that her pregnancy news would net her Nikolas’s (Marcus Coloma) protection from any and all police prosecution, and she was right…to an extent.

After being convinced that Esme was indeed heavy with child — his child, to be precise — Nikolas agreed that he couldn’t just throw Esme to the awaiting wolves. Still, Nikolas knows that Esme is someone who shouldn’t be allowed to mingle amongst polite society, especially considering the fact that she may be hook wielding, slaughtering machine.
With that in mind, Nikolas led Esme to a disused wing of Wyndemere — there’s only one? — got her acclimated to a dust-and-literature-filled room, then promptly locked the doors with him on one side — the outside — and Esme on the other!
Though it’s normally reserved for surrogate daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) extended Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) the benefit of her wise counsel. What it all boiled down to was Sonny should let Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) pout until he got well and truly over himself, and in the meantime, Sonny should invest his time and energy in training Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Try as he might, Sonny couldn’t argue with Ava’s logic.
Despite the majority of the graveyard already being cleared out and hundreds of families being SOL, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) still put up a fight to keep her adoptive mother where she was buried. Win or lose, she certainly stuck it to that stuck-up Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl).
The bug they planted in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) room might not have yielded much, but Lucy (Lynn Herring) certainly came through for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Thanks entirely to her eavesdropping, Lucy was able to connect Victor to Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) Deputy Mayor. Talk about low friends in high places. Lucy’s reward was her walking papers. They can take it from here, Anna and Valentin insisted. The rub? Victor is very much on to Lucy!
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is starting to be disenchanted by Dex, but that actually works for him and Michael; maybe Josslyn will stop sticking her nose in where it’s not wanted, and she’ll instead start focusing on her relationship with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
