The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, May 26, 2022, features Nikolas Cassadine continuing to look like a fool whenever he is around Esme Prince. He even looks like a fool when not around Esme.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) started his day at the hospital demanding that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) tell him what was going on with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). She couldn’t tell him because of HIPAA laws, but she did tell him he might want to worry about his son and that maybe Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) would have turned out better if Nikolas didn’t fake his death and abandon the boy.
Things didn’t get much better for Nikolas when he got home and informed Spencer that Elizabeth was now in Shadybrook. Spencer had just told Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) they needed to move out to get $10k a month, as per Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) promise about his trust fund, but he felt the need to go lend support for Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and left.
Esme then took it upon herself to tell Nikolas how much she would miss him when she and Spencer move out. Nikolas was confused as to why she would be moving out so she informed him about the trust fund. Nikolas was horrified and ran straight to find Ava, who was at the Metro Court having an interesting chat with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) over drinks.
Outside Kelly’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) couldn’t wait to tell Cameron about her latest plan to trap Esme until Cameron told her about his mother. Joss listened for a bit and went right back to talking about Esme as Cam begged her to not mention Spencer’s girlfriend for just one day.
As for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she got a visit from Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) while working at the gallery. Rory said he was determined to right the wrong done to Trina and then asked her on a date. Trina smartly declined, knowing what a bad look it would be for a cop to date her while she’s awaiting trial.

General Hospital Recap: Sonny Takes The Stand
In Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) took the stand on Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) behalf and admitted that while Nina kept his identity from him, he had decided he didn’t want to know who he was before Nina even arrived in Nixon Falls. He also said he forgave Nina and believed she absolutely should be allowed to see Wiley.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) then cross-examined the man who keeps her living in style and got him to talk about Nina inducing labor on Ava and kidnapping Avery at birth. The judge seemed horrified by this revelation, but perhaps Ava should have been there to explain that even she forgives Nina and that Nina is now her best friend.
When Diane was done with Sonny, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) surprised the courtroom by calling Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to the stand.
GH Spoilers Recap: Hospital Happenings
Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Britt sat down to have some girl talk and Britt admitted she was annoyed with Nikolas because Spencer had talked down to her the week before like a condescending man would. When Britt asked Terry to attend a Society Setups in-person event, Terry said she’d go but also admitted she is seeing someone.
Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) stopped by the hospital to tell Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) about a job offer in Chicago. He didn’t even know how they got his resume and said he wasn’t sure about taking the job because he is seeing Terry. Amy pretended to be surprised, but the audience later learned that Amy is the one who arranged for the job offer.
