The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 24, 2022, features Elizabeth Webber making a decision on her own despite what Hamilton Finn wanted her to do.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Despite being a doctor who should know best in these situations and also know when someone is dead or not, Finn (Michael Easton) was furious at the idea of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) committing herself to Shadybrook. While Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), the psychiatrist, thought this was a good idea, Finn did not and Elizabeth had to fight him on it. He finally relented and said he would drive her there and visit every day, but Liz told him not to because she had to do this on her own.
Elizabeth said a tearful goodbye to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) as Finn looked on with a scowl. She then said goodbye to Finn and told him she hoped she would get his support. He reluctantly offered to give it.
The other Chase men also had interesting days as Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) tried to give a lesson in journalism to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) when they met in the park. As a professor (and the former husband of a prize-winning reporter), he was not pleased with her trying to play both sides of the coin with the Invader and she had to bluntly explain to him how media, unfortunately, works in the 21st century. Ever the wise diplomat, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) had to get them to call a truce.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) asked Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to tail her old manager and set him up to commit a crime and he absolutely refused because he values his career as a cop. Brook Lynn stormed off and said she’d take care of things herself.
General Hospital Recap: The Never-Ending Fight For Wiley
Another judge got to hear about Wiley today as this time his grandparents are fighting for him. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) begged Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) not to pull another Pennsylvania bribery case stunt and force Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to confess things on the stand, but Scott thought it was a genius idea and couldn’t believe Sonny volunteered to do this.

Nina took the stand first and asked why she is held to a different standard than Wiley’s other grandparents, a question on many minds. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) took a sucker punch when Nina explained how Nelle Benson could have been different if she got to raise her. Diane’s response was to call Nina delusional because she was forced into a coma for 20 years by her sociopathic mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills).
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) watched on with a sneer plastered to her face, while her son and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) couldn’t wipe the smug looks from their faces. But that sneer and smugness suddenly turned to shock and disgust when Scott did indeed call a ready Sonny to the sand on Nina’s behalf.
GH Spoilers Recap: Ashford Family Reunion
Over in Brooklyn, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) finally woke up and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) did his best to get Marshall to return to Port Charles with him. Marshall tried to resist, but Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) rode in for the rescue to rally the troops and tell Marshall he has been given a second chance and needed to take it.
Curtis also realized that Stella knew all along that Marshall had left due to mental illness, but she correctly said it was not her story to tell. Now, will Marshall ever tell it?
