The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 23, 2022, features Spencer Cassadine’s last day at Spring Ridge getting creepy thanks to Ryan Chamberlain.
As Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) prepared for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to pick him up, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) approached Spencer about playing a game of chess with Ryan Chamberlain (John Lindstrom), with Harmony interpreting all of his blinks and making the chess moves for him.
Apparently, Ryan can say a lot with just blinking because he told Spencer that he is still angry at him and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) for exploiting his name when stalking Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). He pointed out Nikolas and Ava are still together so it was all for nothing. He then offered to team up with Spencer to help him get what he wants.
After Spencer was gone, Ryan told Harmony (through blinks) that one day she won’t be obligated to him anymore and he will free her from his service in the one way he knows how. Harmony looked quite freaked out and really, who can blame her?
Over at Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) place, Esme announced she was moving out, but Laura did her best to get her to stay. Esme totally snowed Laura by breaking out the crocodile tears over how much Spencer wants Trina Robinson and not him. She said she feels she has been trashed by everyone and needs to leave. Laura then told Esme she needs her to keep Spencer away from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). When Nikolas walked in with Spencer, Esme pretended she still hadn’t decided what to do.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) brought Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) office while Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) dropped off Cameron Webber (Will Lipton). After a long talk, Joss convinced Cam that what happened was not going to blow over so fast and hiding makes her look like a victim. Cam and Joss agreed they didn’t do everything wrong by having sex because they love one another, so they decided to tell their story together.
At the Metro Court restaurant, Liz and Carly had a bonding session where they gushed over one another’s parenting while remembering how much they hated each other in the past. Joss and Cam later arrived to say they were done giving their interview to Alexis’s top reporter.
Elsewhere at the Metro Court, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) told Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) once rented an apartment in Argentina using his real name. Curtis thought that would be an odd thing to do for someone allegedly in the witness protection program.
At the hospital, Marshall had an odd run-in with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who was there because Avery hurt her arm in the park. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) took care of Avery for Ava and Sonny, and later Marshall warned him to stay away from Sonny. When Avery accidentally ran right into Marshall after her exam, it caused him to drop a pill bottle that Sonny spotted. Sonny was intrigued that it was for a type of bipolar medication.
