GH Spoilers Recap For March 10: Gladys Eventually Okays Brasha’s Elopement

Is it possible that the Universe is trying to tell Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to give up on the plans to elope? Perish the thought! Not only is the garage mechanic working on their car ordained, but he’s got a wife who can serve as a witness…and she’s got a boombox and the Wedding March on CD. How lucky are Brasha?

In no time flat, two become one, and all seems right with the world…until the couple remembers that they have to call Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and let her know that she’s just gained a daughter-in-law.

Opposite this, Gladys is on a tear, desperate to stop her baby boy from doing exactly what it is that he’s doing. She begs Carly (Laura Wright) for assistance, and Carly, in turn, decides to pawn her off on Sonny (Maurice Benard) — HA! That will teach him.

At Sonny’s penthouse, neither lady is particularly pleased to see Nina (Cynthia Watros), but then, miracle of miracles, Nina, Sonny, and Carly actually work together to convince Gladys that a wedding is exactly what Brando and Sasha need. By the time the newlyweds’ call comes in, Gladys has nothing but good things to say.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are off to Austria for a spot of sleuthing, and Mac Scorpio John J. York) isn’t at all happy. The ladies don’t really care, and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is on their side, so it’s three against one. Guess where Anna and Felicia are headed?

* Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) humbly requested that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) forgive Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) his trespasses; Liesl agreed not to kill the man…for now!

* Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was in the mood for dancing…but she’s got no interest in dating. Her last two lovers, respectively, tried to cut her head off and overdosed in her bed so she’s a little romance shy.

* Sonny assured Nina that there’s no need to take Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to court in order to see Wiley. He’ll handle it.
