GH Spoilers Recap For June 9: Gladys Covers For A Lying Sasha Again

The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, June 9, 2022, features Sasha Gilmore Corbin lying through her teeth and Gladys Corbin allowing it to happen.

Brando Corbin (temporarily played by Brad Schmidt) immediately suspected that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was using drugs again as soon as he walked in the front door and saw Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) knock a bottle of pills out of Sasha’s hands. She told him and Gladys that was headache medicine and Brando wasn’t so sure. He wondered if drugs are the reason Gladys moved in and if his mother had been lying about the real reason.

Gladys explained that Brando had lied to her when he came back from Iraq and used drugs and she knew what was really going on, but she didn’t tell Sasha’s secret. Instead, she allowed Sasha to lie to Brando that she hadn’t used drugs at all recently.

General Hospital Recap: Suspicious Minds In Wyndemere

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) laid it on thick with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), pretending to want her again and ready to start a new day. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was just happy to be back in Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) bed despite the fact that they are taking things slow. When both tense couples got together, Ava announced that Spencer would only get his allowance if both he and Esme were on their best behavior. Esme was incensed but she didn’t take Ava’s bait.

When alone, Nikolas told Esme what happened between them could never happen again and she looked hurt. He also asked her if she needed anything from the pharmacy, but she said she was taking care of things. In another room, Spencer asked Ava if he can no longer work at the gallery and then seemed jealous of the presence of Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) in Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) life. Ava started to realize that Spencer cares much more about Trina than he does Esme.

At the gallery, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina discussed studying abroad, but Trina worried about the Title IX decision. Like clockwork, she got an email with that decision but was afraid to open it and learn her college fate.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was not happy to run into Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) at the Metro Court pool where he told her she should sue the Metro Court for not having his landing space cleared. He then explained he was hired by a woman named Zelda who then appeared out of nowhere to pay Cody, but the pay left out his expenses.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) discussed Esme’s nanny, but Sam wouldn’t reveal that Spencer told her about the nanny. They also discussed Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), his new clothing, and what he might be up to. Spinelli lied and said he was in therapy, but he then met Zelda at the pier and handed her a wad of cash saying nobody could ever know what he was up to.
