The GH spoilers recap for Friday, June 24, 2022, features Valentin Cassadine and Ned Quartermaine delivering quite a surprise.
What a week it’s been for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). He got the girl, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and now he got ELQ. Yes, he already had ELQ and now he gets to keep it because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) thought putting Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) out to pasture was a good idea. Michael even accused him of having a tantrum, so Ned decided he would fight back and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was happy to help.
In the end, the vote for who will remain CEO of ELQ was a tie and Lucy got to break the tie-breaking vote after Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) assured her that her vote would count this time around. Martin also warned Valentin that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wants to have Victor Cassadine deported and Valentin did not seem happy about that. However, he is happy to have ELQ and nix the Aurora merger.
Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) gloated to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) all about her insider trading purchase, dropping the bomb that she got the money to buy the Aurora shares by selling her share of the Metro Court. She even planned a vacation with no expenses spared. Well, Valentin is getting the last laugh, Carly.
At Kelly’s, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) told Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) all about the time Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) stole his and Lulu Falconeri’s frozen embryo and gave birth to Rocco, trying to pass him off as her own. Cody seemed horrified, but also a bit curious, especially after learning Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was her father.
At the hospital, Britt almost told Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) about her Huntington’s Disease gene but was interrupted by Cody, who was there to have his injuries examined. She told him he is fine to leave town now, but he later told Dante that he has decided to stick around for a while.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) concocted a whole plan to tell Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was protecting her from bodily harm when he punched Linc Brown (Dan Buran), but Chase decided to take it like a man and accept his fate.
In her office, Jordan managed to talk Linc out of pressing charges against Chase, but he still wants to have him lose his job. Jordan later warned Chase that a civilian review board would be looking at his case.
Over at Kelly’s, Brook Lynn offered to work with Linc again if he would just drop the charges. He turned her down and told her he’d rather see Chase fired than anything else right now.
