GH Spoilers Recap For June 20: Anna Remains Suspicious Of Valentin’s Charm

The GH spoilers recap for Monday, June 20, 2022, features part two of a pair of international spies at a drive-in movie. What could possibly go wrong?

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had to wonder if Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was treating her to a real and actual date after six long years of living in Port Charles, or was this drive-in movie adventure something else? Valentin assured her that this was a date, but he was nervous you see. Nervous they wouldn’t have anything to talk about without spy talk? Well, maybe more nervous that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) might be angry and the fact that she dressed him down for constantly ghosting Anna.

Valentin had to admit that he has had a lot on his plate and when Anna seemed satisfied with that answer, he moved in for a kiss. They continued to flirt until Valentin left to get some popcorn. Anna knew he got a text but claimed she didn’t look to see who from. After lying that it was Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) texting about the ELQ vote (it was Martin texting about his father), Anna agreed to a second date but flashed Valentin a suspicious look that he didn’t see.

General Hospital Recap: Laura Is Also Suspicious

As Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and her brother Marty had dinner at the Metro Court Gardens, Laura told him that she planned to get Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) deported because she thinks he had Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) killed and was the man who tried to kill them, too. Marty then left to make a phone call, or at least send a text to Valentin.

At the next table, Felicia and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) discussed her visit with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), as he was horrified she decided to confront him. Felicia said it felt empowering after all these years and Mac had to live with it.

Over at the hospital, Kevin Collins was shocked when Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) asked him if he could give her insight on Ryan considering they are twins. She wondered if he ever felt an attachment to other humans and if his detachment could be hereditary. Kevin warned Esme to stay away from Ryan.

When he arrived to join Laura for dinner, Felicia mentioned seeing Ryan and meeting his new aide, Esme. This freaked Kevin and Laura out, so he made his way back to see Esme at Kelly’s and told her she no longer interns at Spring Ridge. Back at the restaurant, Laura received a call from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who had bad news.

GH Spoilers Recap: Spencer and Trina Are After Esme

Before Esme got to Kelly’s, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) discussed his crazy girlfriend with Victor Cassadine, telling him the key to Esme is finding her parents. He asked for Victor’s help finding them and although Victor tried to say no, he eventually relented.

When Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) arrived home, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) were there to comfort her about PCU’s decision and she ended up mentioning she found a lead on Esme being the culprit at a biker bar. Although they were angry she went there and relieved she wasn’t arrested, Trina’s adults were very proud of her for taking initiative.
