The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, July 7, 2022, features a fascinating visit with Elizabeth Webber that revealed 25 years’ worth of angry feelings.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was surprised when Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) brought Jake Webber (Hudson West) to visit but was even more shocked when he brought up asking his grandparents for help now that Liz is in Shadybrook. Elizabeth immediately went cold and Jake assured her hadn’t been speaking with them again.
When Jake went to wait for Kevin in the car, he asked her to talk about her parents, which infuriated Elizabeth. She told him that they hadn’t been a part of her life since she was a teen, dumping her with her grandmother all those years ago. They didn’t attend any weddings, weren’t there when her kids were born, and weren’t there for her when she graduated nursing school. When Kevin mentioned they might be a trigger for her, she became even angrier and knocked puzzle pieces all over the place.
She also told Kevin she didn’t want to see Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but he showed up anyway and demanded Kevin let him speak to Elizabeth. Kevin told him she was gone.
General Hospital Recap: A Musical Future For Chase and Brook Lynn
Before Finn arrived at Shadybrook, he lamented his Liz woes to his father and brother. It was Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to told him to go see Elizabeth after he told Chase to be honest with Brook Lynn.

Over at the Q mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) discussed the Chase situation and BLQ was shocked when Ned showed her Leo Quartermaine’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) social media account with Chase singing her song at the school fair. Brook Lynn decided she really was talented and that she had to turn Chase into a professional singer. By the end of the hour, both Chase and BLQ were at the pool to talk it out.
GH Spoilers Recap: Victor Is Holding Charlotte ‘Hostage’
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) met in the park where Victor gave his son a replacement Cassadine ring. Valentin told Victor things had changed and he could no longer do his bidding as he flashed back to kissing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at the drive-in.
He also told Victor he has only done what was asked of him because Victor has Charlotte Cassadine in a boarding school and is practically holding her hostage. He also informed Victor that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wants him deported, so Victor ordered Valentin to take care of that problem.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Laura and Anna had a long talk about Valentin in which Anna admitted that she feels like she has known Valentin forever and how comfortable she is with him despite knowing the things he has done. Laura reminded her that maybe she should dig deeper into the things that unnerve her so Anna later called to see if Valentin was really in a rehab center…which Victor overheard.
