GH Spoilers Recap For July 6: Sasha’s Meltdown Gets Her The Help She Needs

The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 6, 2022, features Sasha Gilmore Corbin having a heartbreaking breakdown on live television.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) appearance on the Home and Heart channel went south as soon as she put the baby sling on. She did her best to keep it together at first but when a doll was placed in the carrier, she imagined it was her baby Liam and began speaking to him and having a mental break for everyone to see.

Although Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) tried to stop the cameras, it was Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) who had to rescue his wife and take her to the hospital where the pills were found in her purse. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) insisted on a 72-hour psych hold and Brando agreed as a sobbing Sasha was wheeled away.

When Haven de Haviland (Morgan Fairchild) threatened to sue Deception for having a spokesperson who broke down, shareholder Selina Wu (Lydia Look) stepped in and put a stop to that. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was grateful but Selina warned her to never let that happen again.

General Hospital Recap: Carly Won’t Accept Help

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) ended up telling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) what Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) did with her share of the Metro Court as she explained why she told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) she wouldn’t buy Crimson.

That prompted Sonny to offer Carly the community property she turned down in the divorce. She turned him down again but was willing to seek comfort from Drew in the shape of a beer and friendship.

Later, Sonny was there to comfort Nina after she turned on the TV and witnessed Sasha’s devastating breakdown on live television, reminding Nina of her own pain and loss.

GH Spoilers Recap: All About Horses

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is finally the new stable boy at the Q estate and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) were tasked with welcoming him. Willow later told Michael about the pony she once knew when she was a child and how she hated moving around so much. She vowed her new baby wouldn’t have that kind of life.

As Cody got to know the only horse living in those lovely stables, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) stopped by with the belt he left at the hospital. Cody said more insulting misogynistic things to her but then apologized and offered to teach her how to ride a horse. Britt turned him down but then seemed to have regret on her face.
