The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 5, 2022, features Drew Cain trying to come up with a way to help Carly Corinthos and thought that Nina Reeves was the answer.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Nina (Cynthia Watros) was surprised to walk into her office and see Drew (Cameron Mathison) there. She warned him if he sold Crimson that she still had to retain creative control, but was not expecting him to offer her first buy on the magazine. Nina later realized that Drew was trying to raise the money to help Carly (Laura Wright) buy back her share of the Metro Court, and they seemed to cut a deal. However, Drew told Carly she wouldn’t like what he had to say.
Carly did her best to keep her bad news from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but Nina pretty much blew Carly’s secret wide open when she mentioned to Sonny that Carly really messed up this time.
As Carly tried to drown her sorrows in wine, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) created a distraction that ended with him, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) thrown into the pool. But the plan worked and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) got a napkin with Carly’s lipstick and saliva while Spencer managed to get a lock of Josslyn’s hair in their tussle.

General Hospital Recap: Sonny Is Suspicious, Chase Is Angry
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was the topic of conversation once again when he dined with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) at the Metro Court. He played coy with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) as Spinelli tried to make Society Setups sound more appealing to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). It was Sonny who noticed something weird going on between Cody and Spinelli and warned Spinelli he would find out what was really going on.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had a backup plan for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) just in case being a cop doesn’t work out. He can be a singer and sing her songs and have Linc Brown (Dan Buran) manage him. Chase told Brook Lynn the idea was only to help herself.
GH Spoilers Recap: Sasha’s TV Appearance Goes South
As the Deception team readied for Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) appearance on the Home and Heart Channel, Sasha popped some more pills and froze when the cameras were turned on. Thankfully, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) made sure to be the first caller and put Sasha at ease. She seemed to be doing great until she was asked to model a baby sling given to her by Flora Gardens (Susan Batten), the top seller on the channel. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) knew it was a matter of time before she lost it.
