The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 26, 2022, features Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves having a long discussion about their relationship that left them with more questions than answers.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) decided to look the part of a hotel manager and found an outfit that suited the job perfectly. Too bad the bartender at the pool decided he would never consider her his boss. When Sonny (Maurice Benard) walked by and heard that, he put on his best tough guy mobster persona and scared the young man into being nice to Nina.
While Nina was flattered and impressed, she was still smarting from him being there for her sometimes but not always, referencing an argument they had on whether she should keep her share of the Metro Court. Sonny told her that he and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) would argue over worse than that and they’d get over it so Nina said she is not signing up for their brand of verbal abuse towards one another.

That led to a discussion about Carly always being a part of their relationship and Sonny explaining that is what happens when you have kids together. Sonny made a good point, but Nina wasn’t sure what she is willing to live with that if they go ahead with their relationship.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told Carly all about recording Sonny doing the mobster thing but Carly already knew. Josslyn had some good points when she wondered if Jason Morgan and Carly were actually idiots for always going along with whatever Sonny wanted…hmmm.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) did his best to get Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to finally come clean and help free Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), holding over her head the idea that he knows who her mother is. When Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) informed her that he helped her get her internship at Spring Ridge back, she was thrilled and immediately made plans to visit her father, Ryan Chamberlain.
Nikolas also surprised Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) when their divorce papers arrived and he decide to call the whole thing off.
As the second day of Trina’s trial began, Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) was there by her side and said he intended to be there as a civilian till the trial was over. When the prosecutor called him out on being there, Trina told him it might be best if he stays away.
At the hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) explained to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) how he found Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) almost dead from a drug overdose, so Jordan took it upon herself to visit Wyndemere and ask Nikolas why the man was there the day before.
