Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) took a firm stance with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) — no killing Laura (Genie Francis). Victor responded by instructing one of his goons to take Laura out with a sniper rifle.

After catching wind — and sight — of the plan, Valentin pivoted Laura out of murdering range, then set about arranging a “distraction” — AKA an assault on poor Lesley Webber — to get her out of town. Won’t Papa be impressed?

General Hospital Recap: Reasonable Doubt

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is loath to betray a confidence, and Lord knows she’s had to rely on quite a few people keeping her more grandiose machinations quiet, but she couldn’t help revealing that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) just might have an ace up her sleeve.

After getting badgered by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who couldn’t help but make the situation all about herself — like mother, like daughter — Trina finally admitted that she has an alibi for the time that the sex video was disseminated — she was hanging out in a graveyard with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

GH Recap: Progress. Slow And Steady Progress

Having rattled the cage of the scumbag who sold Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) that much-talked-about burner phone, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) set back and watched as their target made tracks for Spoon Island. Well, they didn’t so much as set back as they did trail him, but you get what we’re saying.

GH Spoilers Recap: Carrot Dangled

Boy, Esme sure would hate to tell Spencer and Ava about her and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) affair. It would really pain her. But the truth might slip out if Nikolas can’t arrange for the reinstatement of her internship at Spring Ridge. Good thing Nikolas has some pull with the right people…so he hopes.
