GH Spoilers Recap for Feb. 23: Anna Watches Peter August Die

The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 23, 2022, proves that dreams really do come true, that good things come to those that wait, and that fans can indeed have nice things.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is in a bad way, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) couldn’t be more thrilled. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is equally pleased with her handiwork, but she is slightly worried that she might face some serious criminal charges (HA!).

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) arrive on the scene, take it all in, then rush into action.

Anna informs the group that she’s phoned for an ambulance, and Drew guides the women to a safe distance away from a broken and battered Peter. In the meantime, Anna reveals that she hasn’t summoned any help, outside of WSB agents, and that this will be Peter’s end. He dies with her by his side. Afterward, Anna confesses her dirty deed to Felicia who commends her for her service to society.

Back in Port Charles, the recent goings-on reach Maxie’s nearest and dearest. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) prepare themselves to spend their last night with Bailey Louise…and wind up sharing a sweet and tender smooch!

General Hospital Recap: High Time(s)

Sasha Gilmore (temporarily being played by Helena Mattsson) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have seen better days. While the former decides the only way she can deal with an impending getaway with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is to score some coke, the latter drowns his sorrows at Charlie’s and places the saddest booty call in recent memory to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros); she, of course, shows up.

GH Spoilers Recap: All The Rest

* Champagne! Champagne for everyone! Or at least a paper cup full of whatever libation Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had in her desk drawer. There’s a death to celebrate, and anyone who wants to attend is invited!

* What are the odds that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Maxie will be able to make a real go of it once she’s back in Port Charles? Britt thinks they’re pretty high…but she’s a low-key romantic; Austin just isn’t sure there’s a future for him and the object of his affection.
