GH Spoilers Recap For August 8: Willow Breaks Down In Ava’s Arms

The GH spoilers recap for Monday, August 8, 2022, features Willow Tait having nowhere to turn so she breaks down with the least likely of people.

Although we don’t remember Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) ever meeting or having a conversation, Ava strikes up one with Willow to see if any Jane Does had been brought into the ER as a member of her household had gone missing. When Willow didn’t find anyone, Ava talked about life and death and not knowing when one’s time is up. By the look on Willow’s face, Ava could tell she had said something wrong.

Willow ended up admitting she was pregnant, so she was a bit emotional, and as Ava congratulated her, Willow broke down sobbing and flew into a confused Ava’s arms. Ava then tried to relate to Willow by telling her she knows what it is like to lose a child and that she makes every moment with the one she has left count.

That’s when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) walked by and demanded that Ava tell him what she did to Willow to make her cry. Willow insisted Ava did nothing wrong and that she knew what she now had to do for the sake of her baby.

Earlier, Michael met with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and learned about Sonny Corinthos ordering Dex to tamper with Trina Robinson’s jury. Michael refused to use that against Sonny for Trina’s sake.

General Hospital Recap: Sonny And Nina Woes

After Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tried to lure a celebrity chef to the Metro Court, she had a conversation with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who urged her to be on guard about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but go for it with Sonny if she wants him.

At Charlie’s Pub, Sonny and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) played catch up. Although she can understand what other members of her family are coming from with their disdain for Nina, Kristina told her dad that she wants him to be happy, and if Nina makes him happy, so be it. Soon, Nina showed up and said she wanted to talk to Sonny.

GH Spoilers Recap: Society Setups, Manager Setups

At the Metro Court pool, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) warned Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is not very good at underhanded plots, and he knew they were up to one with Linc Brown (Dan Buran). As for Linc, he informed Chase that Brook Lynn has feelings for him, but he still wants to manage Chase’s career.

After Brook Lynn unsuccessfully tried to call the plot off, Chase asked Brook Lynn if Linc might be right, and she didn’t know what to say.

Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) did his best to convince Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) not to date Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) again, and Cody interrupted to tell Britt that Spinelli likes her and that’s why he is saying these things. Britt wasn’t sure she was buying what Cody was selling, but later, Cody warned Spinelli to go along with the act, or he will reveal that Society Setups is really a data mining operation accessing classified information.
