GH Spoilers Recap For August 2: Spencer Cassadine Is Arrested Again

The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 2, 2022, features Spencer Cassadine paying the price for telling the truth on the witness stand.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights: Spencer’s Carted Off To Jail

With Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) still on the stand, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) questioned her about how many drinks she had the night at the cabin and how she thought Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) put the phone in her bag. Trina said she only had one drink but that there was a day when she visited Spencer at Spring Ridge, and Esme was there. Diane then closed the case by reminding the jury about reasonable doubt.

After the day in court ended, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) thanked Spencer for telling the truth but tried to keep him away from Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and Trina. Still, Trina wanted to talk to Spencer and told him she couldn’t believe that he came through as her alibi. After that, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) arrived to arrest him promptly.

Before Jordan made it to the courthouse, she discussed the case with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and told him all about the conversation she had with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about the drugs Spencer wanted info on being the same drug in Oz Haggerty’s (Max Faugno) system. They deduced that Esme likely drugged Trina. Curtis later asked TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) how to get Oz out of his medically-induced coma.

Over at Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) searched for Esme after she went over the parapet, but only found her shoe. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) wanted to call the police at first, but Nikolas convinced her she would just look like she threw Esme over the parapet on purpose, so they tried to get their stories straight.

General Hospital Recap: Willow Has Her Biopsy

Despite Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) searching for her, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) insisted that she didn’t want to bother anyone about possibly having cancer and immediately underwent a bone marrow biopsy. Britt was there as her OB and later talked with her about dealing with the hand you are dealt, no matter what the results.

When Willow finally caught up with Michael, she told him she just had standard tests done, and he believed her.

GH Spoilers Recap: Elizabeth Has Strange Memories

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) had some fascinating memories while in the stairwell at GH. She flashed back to finding Peter August (Wes Ramsey) at the bottom of the stairs last year but could also hear a little girl calling for her daddy. That’s when Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) found her and brought her back to his office.

Finn was concerned that she seemed to have lost more time, but she insisted she didn’t need therapy anymore. When he told her to do it for her boys, Liz turned angry and accused him of insinuating that she is a bad mother. She then left his office in a huff, so perhaps her declaration of love was an anomaly.
