GH Spoilers Recap For August 19: The Davis Girls Try To Fix Sam’s Love Life

The GH spoilers recap for Friday, August 19, 2022, features the Davis girls out to lunch for some small talk and gossip, and it was everything we hoped for.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sat down with her daughters for a casual lunch outside Kelly’s so they could tell her what’s going on with their lives. Kristina Corinthos Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) said she is happy to be a manager at Charlie’s. Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) said she is considering becoming a defense attorney. And Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) confessed she was not happy when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) asked her to move in with him.

Her sisters insisted that she has to do it and were ready to pack for her, and Alexis wanted to know what was really going on. Sam said that she thinks of Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) whenever she is at Dante’s house, but Alexis convinced her of how happy she seems to make Dante and how happy he makes her.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Dante confessed to Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) that he thinks he messed things up with Sam when he asked her to move in. Sam soon showed up, and they talked things through, agreeing to take things a little more slowly.

Back at Kelly’s, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) took Sam’s place, and Violet precociously and subtly pushed for a Gregory and Alexis romance.

General Hospital Recap: Finn Doesn’t Ever Listen

Before Gregory and Violet made it to Kelly’s, Gregory had to once again tell Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that he may not want to push Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) boundaries. Even if he thinks there is something he needs to fix with her, she made her wishes clear, and he should respect that.

Over at the hospital, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) found Liz with her bleeding hand and tried to tell her if she still needs some mental health help, she should seek it. That was good advice considering that Liz also imagined throwing herself down a flight of stairs.

Then, Finn showed up and was alarmed by Liz’s bandaged hand. She eventually lied and told him she squeezed the glass too hard when she thought of all the time they wasted. After Liz insisted on going home on her own, Finn called a female Dr. Webber and left a message that they need to talk about someone they have in common. Did he call Liz’s mother, Caroline Webber, or her sister, Sarah Webber?

GH Spoilers Recap: Women Who Should Know Better

At the Metro Court pool, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) once again admitted he loves someone from afar, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) still didn’t catch on. She was too interested in Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), who had returned from Pautuck. His cousin, Mason (Nathanyael Grey), soon arrived and introduced himself to an oblivious Maxie.

At the Q stables, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) confronted Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) about whether he was scamming her, knowing her father and his alleged father once worked together as criminal masterminds. Cody denied any ulterior motives and then told Britt how pretty she was when he parachuted into the pool and knocked her into the water. Britt fell for the whole act.
