GH Spoilers Recap For August 17: Trina Robinson Breaks Spencer Cassadine’s Heart

The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 17, 2022, features Spencer Cassadine trying to tell Trina Robinson the truth, but then things got difficult.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Trina (Tabyana Ali) asked Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to explain to her what changed to make him believe Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) really set her up but then changed the subject to ask about whether he would be going to jail or not. She was surprised to hear he was going to Pentonville for three months and decided she didn’t need to know his reasons for why he changed his mind when Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) walked in.

After Trina walked out of the courtroom with Rory, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) talked Spencer into telling Trina that he loves her but when he walked into the hallway, he saw Trina and Rory kissing and changed his mind. Joss threatened to tell Trina the truth if he did not but Spencer was adamant that he wouldn’t do it.

General Hospital Recap: The Burning Of Esme

As soon as Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) heard that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was heading for Wyndemere looking for Esme, she hightailed it over there to help cover their tracks. Suddenly, Jordan got word that Esme posted something on social media from France and left Wyndemere in time for Ava to learn that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) told Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) everything. Victor even made sure that Esme’s account had new posts.

The threesome then took Esme’s suitcase and dumped its contents — letters to and from her nanny and all — into a trash can so they could burn it. Not smart.

GH Spoilers Recap: Action At The Metro Court

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) once again shared words when Nina chastised Carly for getting a cake out of the kitchen from a hotel she no longer owns. They talked the same old, same old about how Nina could never see Wiley, and Carly finally headed towards the party at the pool.

When Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) arrived and saw everyone there, she had to leave to be alone, claiming morning sickness. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) found her on the terrace where she told him she does indeed have leukemia and he encouraged her to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She said she eventually would, but then they hugged and Nina saw all, making her wonder what was going on.

Finally, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confronted Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) on his dishonorable discharge from the military. Dex told him he assaulted a commanding officer when he learned he was physically abusive to his family.
