GH Spoilers Recap For April 7: Valentin Is Caught In His Own Scheme

The GH spoilers recap for Thursday, April 7, 2022, features Valentin Cassadine with a French accent for the entire hour — and also the mustache he had when he first appeared on Cassadine Island using the name Theo.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and his French came in handy in French Polynesia. He used it on Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) and she pretty much fell for it. They went back to her room and he watched her put something in the safe. Then, while she showered he did everything he could to crack the code and open that safe as Jennifer described her entire shower to him in intimate detail. She apparently used lots of lather.

Of course, the minute he got the safe open, Jennifer caught him, so either Valentin gets kidnapped once again as he is apt to do, or he manages to talk his way out of this in time to see Anna Devane and give Vanna fans across the Internet something to smile at.

General Hospital Recap: Sonny Likes Nina, He Won’t Like Michael

Big shot Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) thought of the perfect way to get Smoltz (David Lautman) to drop the charges against him. He told him he would give him a first-person story about Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) romance with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), as well as an account of all Nina did to his family, including kidnapping Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) right out of Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) womb. Might Nina’s best friend Ava have something to say about that? Smoltz should go to her for comment.

Over at Sonny’s office, Sonny and Nina spent time together as Sonny tried to explain that maybe Michael thinks she is just like Nelle Benson and that is why he doesn’t want her near Wiley. Sonny said that he can see all of Nina and knows she is not like Nelle and the pair kissed, but Sonny got a business call that put the brakes on things.

Back at the Metro Court, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) asked Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for a job and told her all about going to bat for Nina, full disclosure and all. Carly was struck by Harmony saying she felt she owed Nina, information that Carly quickly relayed to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

When Harmony and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) had a chat, Harmony ignored her phone as she did when with Carly, but finally got a text from Brendan Byrne telling her he will call her daughter next.

GH Spoilers Recap: Stella Gives Marshall A Warning

Although Stella Henry fainted, she was fine and it turned out to be a panic attack. Stella then called Marshall Ashford and warned him to stick to his story about his past because the truth can never be revealed or Curtis Ashford might not forgive either of them. Curtis later called Selina Wu to take her up on her offer.
