GH Spoilers Recap For April 5: Nikolas Tells Laura His Real Game With Esme

The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 5, 2022, features Laura Collins wanting to know just what her son Nikolas Cassadine is thinking.

As soon as Laura (Genie Francis) heard Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) talking about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) possibly being pregnant, she had to know what was going on and headed straight to Wyndemere where she insisted on speaking with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) alone. She was relieved that it was a false alarm and Esme was not pregnant, but she had to know why Nikolas would choose this girl over his own wife when he didn’t even choose his son over her.

Nikolas told his mother that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) went straight to Uncle Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) with the Esme possible pregnancy news and Nikolas wanted to look friendly with Esme to keep Spencer away from Victor. Laura wasn’t quite sure if she could buy that story, but said okay, she’ll wait and see what happens.

As for Spencer, he decided to take matters into his own hand and confronted his Uncle Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the boxing gym. Sonny told him straight out that he is sure Esme is the one who recorded Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) and that he is backing the wrong horse and will be sorry one day.

General Hospital Recap: Elizabeth’s Life Gets Stranger

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) couldn’t believe she found that painted note in her house about not forgetting someone and the paint was still wet. She was sure someone had to be in her home while she slept on the couch. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) insisted that there was no way she could stay in that house and wanted her and the boys to move into his hotel room. Elizabeth said she would send them to live with Laura but that she was staying put.

In the kitchen, Jake Spencer (Hudson West) and Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) discussed the situation and Aiden thinks that a person is not doing this, but maybe Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) ghost is.

GH Spoilers Recap: A Deception Party To Remember

Deception finally had its IPO and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) all rang the bell on Wall Street and took a private plane back to Port Charles all off-screen. On-screen, they partied at The Savoy and learned that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is one of their big investors. Selina also made sure to tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) she still wants use of his back room for poker and he still said nope.

The Face of Deception, Sasha, popped some pills after learning she’d have to make a speech. After she got through the ordeal, the stock went up and the ladies celebrated being rich.
