GH Spoilers Recap For April 4: Nikolas Chooses Esme Over Ava

The GH spoilers recap for Monday, April 4, 2022, features Nikolas Cassadine giving Ava Jerome Cassadine quite a shocker — on that he may live to regret.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Ava (Maura West) was floored when she saw Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) sitting in her living room and told her to get the heck out. She was even more floored when Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) walked in, defended Esme, and then told Ava that he has made up his mind and Esme stays. Ava almost lost her own mind when Nikolas told her poor Esme is in such danger from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so Ava flat out told him she asked Sonny to take of the girl she called a monster. She then told Nikolas that it was her or Esme and Nikolas chose Esme.

Elsewhere at Wyndemere, Esme tried to delay taking a pregnancy test but Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) finally got her to do it and they awaited the results. Spener had already promised Esme she could stay at Wyndemere whether she was pregnant or not.

General Hospital Recap: Elizabeth’s Very Strange Night

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) seemed to be having a normal evening visiting with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). They discussed Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) and the sex video, as well as the weird goings-on in Elizabeth’s life. They even discussed Elizabeth’s parents, which is a big first for this character. Laura assured her she was not petty for wanting her parents to have paid her some attention at some point in the last quarter of a century.

After Laura left, Elizabeth headed upstairs but heard a loud noise and then saw a strange shadowy figure telling her not to forget him. She then woke and we wondered if Laura’s presence was all part of a dream. Things got even more bizarre when Elizabeth found a painting in her home that said “Don’t forget me” — it was chilling.

GH Spoilers Recap: On the Defensive

At the Metro Court, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) met Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) for dinner and Gregory was quite rude to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) when Chase introduced them. He blamed Brook Lynn for Chase being suspended from the force. Chase later defended Brook Lynn and Gregory wondered if he has feelings for her. He then apologized to a surprised BLQ.

At the hospital, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) met with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) for an interview and he was told he might get hired as an orderly. When Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) saw him, she called for security but then Terry admonished her.

Meanwhile, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) met with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for dinner and warned her she has dirt on her from when Britt was on the run with Cesar Faison in 2016. She planned to use this dirt to get Britt to keep Brad in line.
