The General Hospital recap for Monday, November 20, 2023, features Spencer finally coming to his senses and agreeing to put Trina first.
Also in this episode, Joss learned Adam’s secret, Ned went off on Michael, and Carly turned down Nina. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Over at the dorm, Trina (Tabyana Ali) was surprised to find Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) sleeping outside her door. She allowed him in and they had a heated discussion about the state of their relationship. The bottom line was Trina would not be with him if Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was part of the deal. She was choosing herself and her own happiness.
Spencer took a step back and realized Trina was right. He had to stop acting like Ace’s father and Esme’s keeper and be a brother. He vowed to make Trina his one and only priority.

At the same time, Joss (Eden McCoy) accompanied a reluctant Adam (Joshua Benard) to the hospital. As it turned out, he had a panic attack that was most likely induced by taking too much of his supplement. Joss was horrified when she realized that the supplement was prescription speed.
Later, the pair got back to the dorm where Joss gave him one last pep talk before going to her and Trina’s room. She was overjoyed to find Spencer and Trina kissing.
Finn (Michael Easton) turned up at Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) office to talk attorneys. He needed a good one and needed one right now. He told Alexis all about the suit against him and Alexis agreed he needed the best of the best. And, she got him the best by calling Diane (Carolyn Hennesy).
Back at the hospital, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) tried to get the tea from Terry (Cassandra James) but failed. Terry was tight-lipped for everyone’s own good. Later, her questions got some answers when Finn arrived at work with a smile on his face. The bad news was that the case was still going, but the good news was that he’d soon have a lawyer.
Meanwhile, Ned (Wally Kurth) showed up at Aurora fully intending to rat out Nina. Unfortunately, he didn’t get that far. A call from Angela Trent turned into a huge debate over Michael (Chad Duell) making deals for ELQ.
Ned was pretty upset about Michael overstepping. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Michael reminded Ned he’d spent months as Eddie and someone had to step up. Ned got himself so wound up that he ended up storming out without making his big reveal.
Carly (Laura Wright) also made a big business decision. She showed up at The Metro Court for a chat with Nina (Cynthia Watros). She wanted to know exactly why Nina was willing to give up her shares and assumed it was to get closer to Willow. Nina didn’t correct her. In the end, though, Carly turned down the deal. She simply could not afford it.
At the recording studio, Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) was a bundle of nerves over her collab with Magnum. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) did her best to talk her up but it was Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) presence that made the difference. Blaze even confided in her new friend that she was getting tired of touring because it was so lonely.
Kristina was nothing if not supportive. She boosted Blaze’s confidence and promised to watch her in the booth as she did her thing. Unfortunately, that promise was broken when Kristina checked her phone and realized her family was trying to reach her. She ran off to see what all the fuss was about.
Kristina showed up in her mom’s office after missing countless calls from Sam. Alexis got teary as she told Kristina about the family tragedy. The surrogate miscarried TJ and Molly’s baby.
