The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, October 25, 2023, features Cody getting one last chance to say all he needed to say to Sasha.
Also in this episode, Michael confronted Nina, Liesl returned to Port Charles, and Maxie took James for a mommy-and-me date. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) stopped by the stable house and was happy to hear Cody is still employed. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) would be happy too, Dante mentioned. Cody was sure she would be but was also pretty sure she was already gone (pan to Sasha’s empty apartment). Cody admitted he was going to miss her.
Dante then once again suggested Cody tell Mac (John J. York) he’s his kid — especially since so many people know. Once again, Cody said no. He wasn’t about to mess up that man’s life. Sigh, Mac deserves better. No sooner did Dante take his leave than Sasha showed up.

Meanwhile, Nina (Cynthia Watros) was pleased to see Michael (Chad Duell), but he wiped that smile off her face real quick. He played her the recording of Martin’s confession and laid down his rules. Michael demanded Nina back off from Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and ONLY see her or Wiley with his expressed permission from here on out.
Well, that did not fly with Nina. She laid into Michael about his mother’s laundry list of dirty deeds and pointed out the fact all she did was turn her in for a crime she actually committed. Michael was floored by her balking at his generous offer, but she soon realized she had little in the way of options.
Speaking of Willow, she was overjoyed when Liesl (Kathleen Gati) appeared. Liesl felt great after her trip to the spa. She was not so happy to hear Nina got married without her, though. Oh well, she can’t be mad forever. She then helped Willow decipher her Harmony dreams. As far as Liesl was concerned, it was time for Willow to take down her walls.
Willow decided to do just that. She left work and headed to her mom’s office. She was a bit stunned to see Nina and Michael together.
As for Sonny, he was at his office engrossed in an info mission with Brick (Stephen A Smith). His right hand had some hot tips for him where Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was concerned. Sonny wanted more, though. He directed Brick to find out where all that money went and what funding Cyrus was using now.
Before long, Carly (Laura Wright) showed up to the party. She caught up with Brick and then asked for Sonny’s help tracking down Drew (Cameron Mathison). As it turned out, Drew was in solitary confinement. Uh-oh!
Over at the coffee shop, Lucy griped to Martin about Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) chokehold on her company and insistence she keeps Sasha around. Sure, Lucy likes Sasha, but she already found a replacement and is reluctant to even talk to Sasha about any of it.
Meanwhile, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) took the day with James. Her son was perky as always but dealing with a dilemma – of the ghoulish variety. He wanted his current costume for school and a whole new one for trick or treating. Maxie said no, but Liesl arrived in the nick of time and said yes.
Liesl’s arrival prompted Maxie to take a good look around her, and she spied Lucy on the patio with Martin. She promptly went out to talk. She demanded Lucy give Sasha the option to continue on at Deception and yelled about owing Sasha another chance.
Also catching up were Ava (Maura West) and Trina (Tabyana Ali). Ava gave her a quick rundown of her latest woes, and Trina told her all about her trip to New York. She boasted about going to the Met and how it helped her see art in a new way. All this because of Ava…her second mother.
