The General Hospital recap for Monday, October 16, 2023, had Michael calling out Martin and he demanded answers, and boy, did he get them!
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Kristina crashed her father’s honeymoon, Blaze got an offer she may refuse, and Sasha announced she’s leaving town. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
General Hospital: Caught On Tape
Michael (Chad Duell) accompanied Willow (Katelyn McMullen) home and got her and the children settled in. Once everyone was relatively happy, he left for a business meeting. All he would tell Willow was that he had something to confirm before he took action. Willow and Wiley said goodbye to him and settled in for some mother/son bonding.
Once out the door, Michael called Martin (Michael E. Knight), who was chatting with Lucy at the Metro Court, and demanded he meet him at Aurora. Martin begrudgingly obliged. However, he would regret it when he walked through the office door and Michael immediately demanded information about the SEC report.
Martin remained tight-lipped and denied everything until Michael threatened to sic Sonny (Maurice Benard) on him. That was enough to get Martin talking. He dropped the attorney-client privilege act real quick and told him he was directed to call by Nina! Michael was pleased he was right. He was even more pleased he had the whole confession on tape.
As for Nina (Cynthia Watros), she was enjoying her honeymoon with Sonny…and Kristina (Kate Mansi). Sonny’s daughter stayed behind with them despite everyone else taking off. The trio brunched together until Kristina finally got the hint and went for a walk.
General Hospital Recap: A Series Of Good And Bad Decisions
Back in Port Charles, Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) offered Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) to chance to be the new face of Deception. She was flattered, but not flattered enough to say yes. Not immediately, anyway. She told them her agent would call with an answer by the end of the week.
After Blaze left, Maxie and Lucy got into it over Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Maxie didn’t like replacing her friend before even talking to her. Lucy, however, was all about business and just rolling with it. Lucy also didn’t give a hoot what Tracy (Jane Elliot) would think, either.
Eventually, Maxie left the table which was when Martin took a seat. He wasn’t there long, though, before getting that dreaded call from Michael. Maxie returned to her seat, but also not for long. She left in a huff to see Sasha.
Over at Sasha’s apartment, Cody (Josh Kelly) was shocked to see all her boxes and hear she was moving to Austin, Texas. He tried to talk her out of it but it was no good. She couldn’t be here after all the trauma and bad decisions she has made. Cody admitted to a big one of his own – lying about Mac (John J. York) being his dad.
The pair were interrupted by Maxie, who was also stunned to hear Sasha’s plan. She was there to break the news about Deception but decided against it since Sasha was taking off.
As for Blaze, she hopped on a flight to Puerto Rico where she ran into Kristina. This must be fate!
GH Recap: Friends Forever
Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) stopped by the pub to offer her condolences to Carly (Laura Wright). It must be so hard knowing Sonny is getting married – despite Carly being in love with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Speaking of Drew, Carly was thrilled to tell Sam he was out of the ICU.
The ladies then got on the topic of Sasha. Carly was proud of Sam for all she did to help their friend and offered any additional assistance needed. Sam was just happy Gladys was now out of the picture and away from Sasha — and Port Charles — for good.
Before Sam left, Carly made it a point to tell her how much she truly adored Drew and promised to always look after him. Sam looked a bit uncomfortable.
