The GH recap for Tuesday, November 29, 2022, features an odd year for the Quartermaines when a turkey really does take center stage.
GH Recap Highlights
In this episode, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wasn’t the only unusual guest at the Quartermaine Thanksgiving, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) confronted Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) with the truth, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) let her suspicions be known, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had bones to pick with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) zeroed in on Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) in a blaze of glory. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was determined that this year would be different. The family she married into would have a turkey for Thanksgiving, and she ordered it herself right from a farm with a French name. Too bad she didn’t know French, or she would have realized they were sending her a real, live turkey.

Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) was thrilled to see the turkey but did not like the idea of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) prepping it and cooking it, so he let it loose to wander Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) house when Monica apparently decided she’d have Thanksgiving elsewhere this year. She must have heard Carly Spencer was coming.
The Qs who decided to stay this year, as well as their guests, looked on in horror as the turkey tore the kitchen apart. But at least they could call for pizza, and all was right with the world.
Well, not quite. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael were thrilled when a not-so-well-meaning Carly informed them she’d help them look for Willow’s birth family. As for Chase, he finally confronted Brook Lynn over deleting that email from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about the civilian review board letter.
General Hospital Recap: Fireworks With The Corinthos Clan
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) hosted his own Thanksgiving dinner but found time for romance beforehand by giving Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a pair of diamond earrings. Sam and Dante were the first guests. When they shared a private moment, Sam voiced her concerns about Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and Dante shrugged them off.
Their chat was interrupted by yelling from the other room as Gladys tore into Alexis for publishing the fact that Esme Prince (Aver Kristen Pohl) might be the prime Hook suspect when she felt she should have been told, seeing that The Hook killed her son. Jordan had already chewed Alexis out for the article.
Later, a distraught Gladys called the number that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) gave her to distract herself with a little gambling in the back room at The Savoy.
GH Recap: A Fiery Thanksgiving For Holly
Thanksgiving in Port Charles even had a little adventure as Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Robert, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Jordan gathered to track down Holly. They finally got a lead on her while Laura tried to distract the crooked deputy mayor who overheard the conversation anyway and alerted one of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) goons to Holly’s whereabouts.
Meanwhile, Holly was happy to try on that Ice Princess necklace while taking refuge in an abandoned cabin. She made herself a fire to keep warm without noticing a gas leak on the floor. When the authorities arrived, Robert begged her to come out and give up and she was kind enough to ask if Laura was all right.
Just as Jordan wanted to go in and end the standoff, the cabin exploded, and Holly appeared out of nowhere while on fire. Now, that’s how to celebrate a Thanksgiving in Port Charles.
