The GH recap for Tuesday, November 22, 2022, hints that a supercoupling may have ended before it really got started. Oh well, live and learn.
In this episode, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) inadvertently throws Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) right under the proverbial bus and Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) big mouth landed her in some real hot water. Elsewhere, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) gave Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) her marching orders, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) did much the same with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
While Dante tried reaching out to Brook Lynn concerning her letter advocating for Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) reappointment to the Port Charles Police Department — a letter that she very much did not pen — she busied herself, and Chase, by taking a meeting with Linc Brown (Dan Buran) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), the pop idol who wants to make beautiful music with Chase…literally. It’s all about the music with her.
Striking a discordant note with Brook Lynn and gallant Chase was Linc’s blatant molestation of Blaze, acts that Blaze tried to explain away and laugh off — but Brook Lynn was not to be deterred.
After getting Linc on his lonesome, Brook Lynn threatened to not only go public with her #MeToo stories but to lead a crusade against Linc that would surely see him ruined. You could do that, Linc proffered. Or, you can have your songs back. Either or. Gulp, said Brook Lynn, really rather audibly.

Across the room, Dante tracked his former partner down and brought up the letter…the letter. The one that Brook Lynn very much didn’t pen, and the one she didn’t tell Chase anything about. Uh oh.
Prior to his little meetup with Chase, Dante had to extricate himself from a rather awkward lunch with his ladylove and her mother. It’s not so much that Dante doesn’t like Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) — he’s even forgiven her stabbing him in the chest with a hypodermic full of drugs — it’s just that he wasn’t in the mood for her barrage of questions about The Hook…and Alexis really wanted to talk about The Hook.
And so did Nina. Is her bestie safe and sound, what with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) — who must be the mad slasher — running around, Nina inquired? Dante refused to reply…to either Nina or Alexis. Nina accepted facts, but Alexis got rather riled up. Her response? She decides to publish the letter, the letter, that The Hook sent her way. That will show the Port Charles Police Department!
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is fit to be tied. Not only is that witch with a b Nina so bad that she has to keep her well and truly clear of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) — who Carly learns is in desperate want of her biological mother’s name — but now she learns that Nina accused Willow and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) of having a sordid little affair. How. Dare. She! This means war, and war Carly shall have!
Though it took some finessing on her part, Holly managed to persuade Victor that she still had Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) wrapped securely around her little finger…which was all well and good considering the next task that Victor assigned her: purloin the briefcase that Robert has handcuffed to his wrist and do it lickety-split. As to the briefcase’s contents, it’s that much in demand, much-contested ruby and (ice princess) diamond necklace.
Speaking of that necklace, it’s become a bone of contention between Cody and Britt. He confused the prize that he’s had his eye on with the “Faison legacy” that Britt is trying to divest herself of — she was talking about her inherited Huntington’s disease — and offered to take it off her hands, she rumbled that that was his plan all along and her heart broke.
