The GH recap for Friday, November 11, 2022, features Anna Devane being self-sacrificing despite it breaking her heart.
In this episode, Anna (Finola Hughes) thought of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) more than she thought of herself, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) got an earful from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) hid Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in her dorm room, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) had some truths for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) told the truth. Let’s dig a little deeper into all the details.
Valentin and Anna seemed to have quite a nice night together, but their nice morning is interrupted by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) showing up at the door. Anna was relieved to learn that Heather Webber was apprehended, but alarmed that Dex had not been found. Sonny had to leave when Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) called him down to the Port Charles Police Department, but Valentin wanted to stick to Anna like glue.
While Anna liked that idea, she insisted to Valentin that he would have to leave her alone so he can be with Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) and protect her from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Before he left, Valentin gave Anna his Cassadine ring for safekeeping until they are together again.
At the PCPD, Jordan was shocked when a U.S. Marshal said he was now in charge of the case. That Marshal later made a call to find Valentin and lean on him until he gives up Anna’s whereabouts.
Apparently, Josslyn Jacks was able to find a bleeding Dex after he left her the night before. She brought him back to her dorm room, where she was sure she could hide him while she nursed him back to health. She even told Trina not to come by and lied about there being bed bugs.

However, she ran the risk of getting caught when dorm friend Adam (Joshua Benard) questioned the bed bugs, and then an RA tried to get in her room.
At the hospital, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) was concerned when Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) hand tremors caused her problems at the vending machine. He was further alarmed when she had trouble swallowing her drink. Britt finally confessed that she had Huntington’s Disease and Austin was surprised she wasn’t seeking treatment. It looks like she is taking after her OB cancer patient, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
At Kelly’s, Cameron and Trina discussed the fact that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was back in town, but then the conversation turned to Spencer and what might have been in that letter he wrote. Cameron advised Trina to just ask Spencer himself, as Pentonville is apparently a pretty accessible place.
Spencer was thrilled when Laura finally paid him a visit now that she is back in Port Charles. He mentioned that all of his uncles were taking care of him, including Uncle Victor, Uncle Sonny, and Uncle Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). He did not mention Uncle Cyrus.
However, when Cyrus asked to see Laura, he informed her that he was looking after Spencer to make amends for all of his sins and she was shocked. She was further surprised when he advised her to make sure Anna remains on the run because Olivia Jerome was ready to roll out the welcome wagon for her in Pentonville, and that was bad news.
Once Laura finally left, Spencer was stunned when he was told he had another visitor. He was then thrilled when that visitor turned out to be Trina.
