The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, November 29, 2023, features Brook Lynn going to bat to save her grandma from herself.
Also in this episode, Finn officially got a lawyer, Maxie opened up, and Ava became a prime suspect. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
All it took was a call from Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) to get Russian Mobster Mr. Petrov to the Quartermaine house. Apparently, the two go way back as Yuri used to be his nephew’s trombone teacher. Unfortunately, cutting a deal wasn’t easy — but not because of the mobster. Because of Gloria (Ellen Travolta).
Lois’s (Rena Sofer) mother was reluctant to apologize or even be gracious. Instead, she made quite a few quips that had Petrov heated. Thankfully, some fancy and fast thinking by Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) saved the day.

BLQ garnered a peace agreement between Petrov and Gloria. Grandma wouldn’t go to the bingo hall and BLQ would bring the brass-playing nephew on tour with one of her clients. Hands were shaken and Gloria was officially free.
Before she took off, though, Gloria had some words of wisdom for Chase (Josh Swickard). Then, she asked when the two were getting married…you know, for traveling purposes, of course.
Meanwhile, Austin’s (Roger Howarth) murder was a hot topic for many, including Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ava (Maura West). She was stunned to hear he died but even more stunned to realize Sonny thought she did it. No sir, she did not. The last time she saw Austin was at the gallery and he was very much alive.
At the same time, Detective Bosco questioned whether or not Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) had a conflict of interest before getting into the case. The pair were joined by Chase and the trio exchanged as much information as they all had. To solve this case, they’d have to talk to Austin’s friends and family, namely Mason…and Ava.
Dante took off for the hospital where he took no pleasure in telling Mason (Nathanyael Gray) his cousin was shot dead. Did he have any idea who would do such a thing? Why yes, he did. He pointed the finger at Ava!
Also in some trouble is Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Her woes were all financial. It seems she got herself into serious credit card debt with all the mess with Deception. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) did not like hearing that. She offered to crack open her checkbook and make most of Maxie’s problems go away. Maxie was reluctant to say yes.
Making their own mess was Molly (Kristen Vaganos). She met with her surrogacy agent and looked over a few files. Molly was astounded at all her options. Little did she know, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was at the restaurant too.
No sooner did the agent get up than Alexis sat down. After some gentle prodding, Molly opened up about her woes. She was ready to try again and get her and TJ (Tajh Bellow) a baby…even if he wasn’t.
Speaking of huge issues, Finn (Michael Easton) told Martin (Michael E. Knight) all about his. Martin was reluctant to take the case but stepped up when the hospital attorney came poking back around.
