The General Hospital recaps for May 16 – May 20, 2022, feature threats a plenty, a deduction worthy of Sherlock Holmes, and so much more.

General Hospital Recaps: Monday, May 16

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) reads Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) for filth. Opposite this, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) reveals to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) that she could be expelled from PCU at the conclusion of her Title IX hearing.

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) admits to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that both she and Curtis’s mother knew that Marshall (Robert Gossett) was actually alive and out there in the world; Curtis is stung.

At the Port Charles Elementary school fair, Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) recites his poem. As a result of Leo’s successful effort, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) prepares to sing a song of the young man’s choosing…. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) spar at the event.

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) bristles when he’s offered the COO position at a merged Aurora/ELQ…. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is pleased to learn that the WSB believe Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) responsible for the theft of the Ice Princess and the death Luke Spencer. When he asks Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) out, she hedges.

GH Recaps: Tuesday, May 17

At Leo’s request, Chase belts a ditty penned by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Linc (Dan Buran) stalks the pair, and eventually emerges from the shadows…. Valentin asks Ned to join him in voting against the proposed Aurora/ELQ merger.

Spencer confides in Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) his plan to out Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as the disseminator of the Jacks/Webber sex tape.

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) intercepts Felty (Brian Norris) before he can insinuate himself into Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) convo. She hands over the photog’s stolen memory card, and he, in turn, hands her the pills that he promised Sasha. After making sure any and all pictures pertaining to Sasha are permanently deleted, Gladys confronts her daughter-in-law.

Ava goes toe-to-toe with Esme, then saddles up to Spencer with a proposition. She’ll give him near unfettered access to his trust fund, but only on the proviso that he and Esme vacate Wyndemere.

General Hospital Recaps: Wednesday, May 18

TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) travel to Brooklyn on a mission – track Marshall down. By happenstance, the man in great demand waltzes into the same pub as the life partners.

With no other option available to her, Sasha comes clean to Glady’s about her backslide into drug use. Aware that she needs assistance staying on the straight and narrow, and unwilling to confide in her husband, Sasha invites Gladys to live with her and Brando.

Linc claims legal ownership of any and all songs written by Brook Lynn while she was under contract with him. With Chase ready to box the sleaze’s jaw, Brook Lynn beats him to the punch – literally.

GH Recaps: Thursday, May 19

TJ makes a heartfelt plea for Marshall to return to Port Charles with him and Molly; Marshall seems swayed. The men are accosted outside a jazz club by two shady characters intent on robbing them….

Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) overhears Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) checking on the status of test results; Carly covers, and Bobbie remains none the wiser that Carly is having Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) DNA tested.

Stella, Portia, and Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) decide to paint the town red. They wind up at The Savoy, as do Carly and Bobbie; all are surprised to find Sonny and Nina enjoying each other’s company. Sonny reveals to Nina that he’s prepared to be a character witness in her upcoming battle for the right to see Wiley.

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) bristles over Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’s (Jon Lindstrom) refusal to entertain the idea that she’s being haunted by Franco. When left to her own devices, Elizabeth heads for her abode; she’s clearly in a dissociative state.

General Hospital Recaps: Friday, May 20

Finn theorizes that Elizabeth herself is responsible for all the misfortune befalling her – and it’s all down to the sleeping pill that she’s been ingesting…. TJ and Marshall scuffle with the would-be thieves; Marshall is stabbed during the fracas. Curtis arrives in time to assist in scarring off the criminals and getting Marshall medical attention.

Bobbie’s attempt to intimidate Nina into dropping her suit results in Nina throwing Bobbie’s past as a hooker up in her face and Bobbie tossing a drink into Nina’s…. Jordan reveals to Portia that she remembers overhearing her mentioning a secret regarding Trina’s paternity; Portia attempts to play off the incident as nothing more than blabbering caused by the carbon monoxide leak.
