The General Hospital recaps for February 28 – March 4, 2022, feature the end (for now) of CarSon, further torment for a poor put-upon widow, mother, and nurse, and so much more.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are aghast to find Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. Carly is equally put out when Sonny admits to going off his medication and she realizes Nina was aware of the fact. Sonny and Carly each sign their copy of the divorce papers.
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has an awkward catchup with Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang). Liz and Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) debate whether Betsy or Jake (Hudson West) could be responsible for the strange events permeating her life. Later, Elizabeth returns home to find one of Franco’s artworks, a portrait of her, displayed in the living room.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) warns Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) against socializing with Harmony (Inga Cadranel). Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) tells TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) of his plans to relocate to San Francisco, then tasks his son with keeping an eye on Alexis. Harmony admits to Alexis that she failed to come clean to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and has paid for a forged birth certificate.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tells Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about his and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) kiss and her subsequent decampment to Bensonhurst. Finn encourages his brother not to give up on his dreams of romance.
Drew tells Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that he’d like to take a more active role in the running of Aurora Media; Sam offers him her full backing…Finn rushes to Elizabeth’s side and listens as she expresses her fear to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Betsy is her tormentor.
When Willow intimates that she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be keeping Nina and Wiley apart from the foreseeable future, Nina threatens to fight for her legal right to visit with him…Michael and Chase achieve rapprochement after the former issues the latter an apology…Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) arranges a rather eventful girls day out for herself, Carly, and Sam: ax throwing!
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) is less than pleased to learn that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is still prying into Marshall’s (Robert Gossett) past. Suspicions mount when Marshall refuses to take a job at Aurora that would necessitate a background check.
Dante fills Sam in on Elizabeth’s plight. They call upon Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to investigate, and the trio learn that Betsy was arrested for assaulting a police officer and sectioned. Betsy appears on a frazzled Elizabeth’s doorstep.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) visits Mac Scorpio (John J. York), then turns her attention to Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). She absolves him of any and all guilt that he feels, then kisses him.
Marshall cops to having a criminal record, but begs off telling Curtis anything more. Marshall accepts Drew’s job offer…Jordan Ashford (now played by Tanisha Harper) returns to Port Charles. She’s sworn back in as Police Commissioner, then heads for The Savoy. She eavesdrops on Curtis and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) apartment hunting.
Jordan, Curtis, and Portia politely chitchat. It’s obvious to Portia that Jordan isn’t over Curtis…Betsy is cleared of suspicion – she’s being in a mental health facility lo these many weeks…Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) makes friendly overtures to Anna Devane. Her efforts are somewhat successful, though both women agree a full-fledged friendship is off the table.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) reminds Stella of the correspondence she intended to mail on the day of her stroke; she’s unable to recall that it was actually Jordan and Curtis’s signed divorce papers…Maxie and Austin agree to see where their feelings for one another takes them.
Courtney Matthews is remembered on the anniversary of her passing…Despite her attempts to remain sober and in the moment, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) takes time away from her revelry with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) to pop a pill. Afterwards, she proposes that she and Brando get married.
Relations between Trina Robinson (Syndey Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) remain frosty. Esme Prince uploads the video of Josslyn and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) to a classroom full of the couple’s peers.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) align themselves Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Anna, Sam, Laura and Drew conspire to uncover Victor’s endgame. Victor arranges for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to briefly adjourn from Spring Ridge so that he might visit Courtney’s grave. Spencer is caught by Trina.
