The General Hospital recaps for April 11 – April 15, 2022, feature thrills and a spill, a poison pen, a best-laid plan, and so much more.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) asks Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to leverage her relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in order to learn the specifics of Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) plight; she is rebuked… Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Dante both agree that Trina is being set up – despite the evidence mounting against her.
Brendan Byrne (Josh Coxx) continues to hassle Harmony (Inga Cadranel) and demand cash for his silence regarding Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) true maternity. Harmony agrees to pay up… Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) announces to Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that she’ll be suing for her right to see Wiley.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) questions Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) reasoning for allowing Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to remain at Wyndemere; he insists that he’s keeping her safe from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
General Hospital was preempted due to Breaking News coverage. In some areas, an encore episode was presented.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) comes a hair’s breadth from admitting to Trina that he’s merely playing Esme’s stooge in order to get the goods on her… Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) unintentionally dampens Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) moods by issuing her condolences on the loss of their son, Liam.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) becomes paranoid that her and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) every move is being scrutinized… Dante catches Sam breaking into his phone… Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) makes her position quite clear to Nikolas: as long as Esme is a guest at Wyndemere, their vow renewal is cancelled…
Sonny offers Phyllis Charlie’s Bar for $100; Nina encourages her to agree; Phyllis does so. As soon as Phyllis and Sonny’s personal bodyguard take their leave and head for the bank, masked bandits storm the establishment and hold Sonny and Nina at gunpoint.
With an assist from Brandon, Sonny brings the siege at Charlie’s to a halt. He resigns himself to reestablishing his stranglehold on Port Charles… Spencer takes Cameron into his confidence… Sam does her best to make up for her lapse in judgment, but Dante isn’t exactly receptive… There is a thaw in Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) attitude towards Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Thanks to Willow and Michael, Grant Smoltz (David Lautman) acquires all the necessary information for his first hit piece on Nina… Intent on making contact with Franco, and bolstered by Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) new age ramblings — Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) purchases himself an Ouija board.
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) agrees to Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) suggestion that Chase move into her place and serve as nightwatchman… Despite deciding to forgo murdering Brendan, Harmony still sends him flying over the side of cliff when he deduces that she was responsible for his brother’s death.
