The General Hospital recaps for March 21 – March 25, 2022, feature pasts and presents called into question, unwanted job opportunities, and so much more.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) tends to an unconscious Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). She comes to and allows him to phone her mother; it provides Harmony (played by temporary recast Priscilla Garita) the perfect excuse to ditch Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), whom she knows from the Crichton-Clark Clinic, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Smoltz (David Lautman) tries to interest Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in an article concerning the Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)/Cameron Webber (William Lipton) sex tape and its dissemination. Alexis advises Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to allow The Invader to cover the story so that they might frame the narrative in a more humanitarian light.
Dr. Nelson and Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) go toe-to-toe over her administering treatment to Willow; Epiphany begins to seriously contemplate applying for medical school… Nina asks Phyllis to intercede with Harmony on her behalf; Phyllis hedges… Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) visits Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) at the PCPD and is sharply rebuked.
Sonny okay’s Selina Wu (Lydia Look) request to use the harbor – but only on the following conditions: no drugs are to be brought in, advanced notice of all traffic, and he will be the one to choose a point person… Dante explains the circumstances of Michael’s arrest to Sonny. They discuss Sonny’s inability to have both Nina and Michael in his life… Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) offers Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) a job at GH, but Selina declares that he’ll be working for her instead.
Epiphany shares with Marshall (Robert Gossett) her decision to take the MCATs…Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) become official homeowners. They pass comment on Epiphany and Marshall’s relationship; Curtis worries that Marshall might not be good for her. A convo with Marshall puts his mind at ease; a phone call from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) once again throws things into question.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) discuss their stalled romance with, respectively, Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton)… Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn decide to get their own relationship back on track.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) relays the news of Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) marriage to Maxie and Brook Lynn. The women set about making plans for a welcome home party; Maxie suggests using one of Brook Lynn’s original songs
Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom), with Harmony as his interpreter, makes contact with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Afterward, he issues a threat to Harmony… Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) well and truly snows Laura Collins (Genie Francis)… Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) chauffeurs Spencer from Spring Ridge to Laura’s abode.
A clearly addled Marshall confronts Sonny and warns him away from TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). Sonny catches sight of a prescription bottle belonging to Marshall… Thanks to Drew’s digging, Curtis comes to the conclusion that Marshall lied about being in the Witness Protection Program.
Elizabeth and Carly ponder the karmic implications of their sins being revisited on their children… Cameron and Josslyn decide to share their story with an Alexis vetted reporter for The Invader.
Esme makes a show of severing ties with Spencer, then “accidentally” tips out a box of pregnancy tests… Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) confirms Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) suspicions: Luke Spencer was targeted for assassination… Sonny and Nina share an intimate dance at Charlie’s; both are overcome with emotion.
Curtis asks Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to allow him access to Marshall’s sealed police record; she declines… Michael is bailed out; Willow collects him; they ponder Harmony’s sudden maternal leanings… Alexis extends Harmony an offer: move into her abode.
Curtis asks Sonny to intervene on his behalf regarding Marshall’s arrest record. Like Jordan before him, Sonny demurs… When his motives are questioned by Nikolas, Victor hedges and then claims he’s merely working to extend Cassadine Industries’ reach in the global marketplace.
Josslyn and Trina Robinson achieve rapprochement. Their girl talk is interrupted by Jordan; she’s there to bring Trina to the station in light of Esme’s accusation that she was the one to disseminate Josslyn and Cameron’s sex tape… Cameron is aghast to learn from Spencer that Esme may be pregnant… Esme throws herself at Nikolas’s mercy.
