Drew (Cameron Mathison) comes to Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) aid when Book (Brad Schmidt) launches an attack. Cyrus suffers a massive heart attack…. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) manage to enjoy one another’s company over dinner. Tracy clocks Gregory’s quivering hand, phones Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and asks about his health.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Anna (Finola Hughes) theorize about her would-be assassin. Sonny’s mention of the Pikeman group peaks Anna’s interest…. Alexis and Molly (Brooke Anne Smith) discuss the latter’s desire to have a baby via surrogacy…. Kristina (Kate Mansi) encourages Michael (Chad Duell) to make peace with their father and Nina (Cynthia Watros) for the family’s sake. Kristina conscripts Michael to the board overseeing her youth center.
While Drew performed CPR, Cyrus reckoned with his litany of misdeeds. After bringing Cyrus back from the brink, Drew was detained for his previous altercation with Book…. Alexis warned Gregory that Tracy had rumbled that there was something wrong with his health. Gregory agreed to inform Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) of his diagnosis sooner rather than later.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) joined Anna and Sonny in their pontificating…. Ava (Maura West) and Carly (Laura Wright) sparred…. Molly and TJ (Tajh Bellow) agree to start looking for a surrogate.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is chagrined when Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) insist that he return to Port Charles. Laura and Kevin ready to travel to Cassadine Island…. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and amnesiac Ned (Wally Kurth) spar, but the tension eventually dissipates…. Cyrus tasks Marty (Michael E. Knight) with giving his fortune to charity.
Sonny dodges questions put to him by Chase…. Tracy demands Brook Lynn continue to snoop for her at Deception…. Sam (Kelly Monaco) learns that Drew was thrown into solitary confinement and apprises Carly.
Cody (Josh Kelly) expresses his suspicions about Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) to Brook Lynn, but she doesn’t pay him much heed…. Ava and Austin (Roger Howarth) traded barbs, and Austin deduced that Ava had told Sonny all…. Molly and TJ settle on seeking a traditional surrogate who would supply her own egg.
Curtis continues to wallow in self-pity…. Trina (Tabyana Ali) confides in Dex (Evan Hofer)…. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tries to steer a well-meaning Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in the right direction.
After searching the Cassadine mansion and coming up empty, Laura laments that perhaps Nikolas didn’t leave Port Charles on his own accord…. Ava tells Austin she intends to continue on as before…. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn go out on yet another proper date…. Anna and Valentin are reunited. Anna admits that she loves Valentin…. Nina pays Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) a visit.
