General Hospital recap for Monday, March 15, 2021, features a paternity test revealed, a former couple reuniting in support, and an offer for control back.
Chase (Josh Swickard) found much-needed support and an ally in Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) about his fear to face the truth regarding the DNA results. He updated her on all that went down with Finn (Michael Easton), Jackie (Kim Delaney), and Gregory (Gregory Harrison).
As he replayed how the truth came out, Chase appeared to soften about the betrayal and his love for his family. He ultimately decided that he needed to know the results, so they could all move on in the healthiest way. Willow agreed and offered to come with him.
After Jackie apologized to Gregory over her one-night indiscretion with Finn, they all agreed that the results needed to be found out. Together with Chase and Willow, the DNA results revealed that Finn, not Gregory, is Chase’s father. Everyone was devastated. Chase reassured an emotional Gregory that he was the best dad in the world and told Finn that he would never accept him as his father.
After their showdown with Peter (Wes Ramsey), who declared there’s no more pretending anymore nor will they find any real proof of their accusations, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) discussed a plan on how to take him down for good.
Anna’s fears that Peter would turn into his father, Faison, have indeed happened so no point in denying it further. The two shared a heart-to-heart talk about regrets made along the way, and Anna confided all the things she did to protect Peter when she thought he was her son.
Jason said that he’s convinced that Peter was the one who murdered Franco (Roger Howarth) and told her how Franco was on the truth’s trail after hearing Drew’s voice in his head. Convicting him of his murder, Jason said, should be their goal now moving forward.
Peter showed up later at Maxie’s (Kirsten Storm), who was stunned to see him. He shot her an evil look that he was indeed not even close to letting her go.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) met with Michael (Chad Duell) to discuss the future of ELQ and outright offered control of the company back if he let Nina (Cynthia Watros) back into Wiley’s life, calling it a “no brainer.” Michael replied with a big fat NO.
He balked at Valentin’s insane suggestion and told him that he would never exchange his daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), for anything and certainly not for business. Michael then retreated and told Valentin that he has every intention of letting Nina be a big part of Wiley’s life in the future, just not now.
Meanwhile, someone was hiding in the bushes outside of the Quartermaine’s watching Michael and Valentin. Since we know that Brook Lynn is coming back, was it her?
Ava (Maura West) reassured Nina that she’d be there to help build a relationship with her grandson but also scolded her for telling a 2-year old that Willow was not his real mommy. She then schooled Valentin when he showed up to not mess things up further for Nina by crossing the line again like he just did with Michael. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
