General Hospital (GH) Recap: The Great Russia Escape

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, October 4 features Griffin saving the day in Russia to get some captive people back to Port Charles.

Headed Home To New York
After helping Russia Jason (Steve Burton) out of a sticky situation, Griffin (Matt Cohen) managed to get to Ava (Maura West) in the nick of time before she became drugged into tranquilized state. He knocked out the doctor, gave him the injection, and even stole his office keys.

He was even frustrated with Ava while she packed all her pretty things, but they finally made it on a plane back to the States where Ava had to question why he came to find her.

Meanwhile, Russia Jason became Steamship Jason when he boarded a ship heading straight to New York. The convenience is just mind-blowing, but then someone arrived to knock his mind out with a crowbar.

Just Have a Little Fun
In Monte Carlo, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Finn (MIchael Easton) discussed her past where she expressed regrets about missing Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) first few years and how she gets to make it up with her grandchildren.

A depressed Finn thought of the baby he thinks he lost, but then decided to take lemons and make lemonade as he and Anna prepared for a casino night on the town.

Busy Day For Valentin
Back in Port Charles, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had a lot to contend with, including two calls from Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) asking about Finn and then announcing her impending arrival in town. He also had to deal with a gun-toting and enraged Laura (Genie Francis), but at least her gun had no bullets.
