General Hospital (GH) Recap: Christmas, Corinthos Style, Collins Style, And More

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, December 22 features another day of Christmas in Port Charles–with lots of surprises.

Corinthos Christmas
Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) got to tell Michael (Chad Duell) a Christmas tale of woe of how she had a one-night stand with AJ, got pregnant, tried to pass the baby off as Tony’s, and then as Jason’s.

And there’s more. When AJ learned the truth, she tried to get the recovering alcoholic to drink again in order to make sure Michael could be with Jason.

They eventually got to Sonny and Carly getting together, a miscarriage due to a toss down the stairs, and how a mafia family is born. It was quite heartwarming and even Nelle (Chloe Lanier) showed up so her pregnant self could promptly pass out. And that’s Christmas at the Corinthos house.

Charles Street Christmas
In the Charles Street section of town, Molly (Haley Pullos) and TJ (Tequan Richmond) lost their power and everyone ended up at Charley’s Pub, including Ava (Maura West) and Griffin (Matt Cohen).

Then, there was a big fight, and Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) will NEVER forgive Jordan (Vinessa Antoine), but hey, Ava wanted to bring some tablecloths to the homeless shelter to keep them warm.

Collins Christmas
Then, there was much church drama as Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) showed up for Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) wedding with a new boyfriend who spoke no English, but could miraculously marry people during a snowstorm when nobody else could show up to perform the duties.

So, Kevin and Laura married with Lesley as an interpreter for her boyfriend, while Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Lulu (Emme Rylan), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) watched on. It was quite a sweet wedding and boy is Laura glad she put out that Internet ad nearly two years ago. And Kevin is certainly glad he answered.
