The General Hospital recap features Carly Spencer discovering yet another secret that has nothing to do with her — Valentin is alive.
In addition, Drew (Cameron Mathison) found Carly with Valentin, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) put a tough question to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Bobbie put Victor Cassadine on blast, Lucy (Lynn Herring) overheard some smack talk about her and was eventually caught by Anna, while Sonny and Nina put their love on hold to keep her safe. Now let’s dig a little deeper into what happened.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) was worried about why Carly (Laura Wright) was leaving with Donna, but Sonny (Maurice Benard) didn’t want his daughter to overhear the conversation they were about to have. He told Nina he could keep the people he loves safe, but until then, his children won’t be visiting him — and neither will she. Nina said she understood about the kids, but she’s a grown woman. She wanted nothing to do with his business but everything to do with him. If she could put up with the guards and accept the danger, then why couldn’t she stay? He said he didn’t want to accept the danger for her. After recounting all those he’d lost, Nina asked him to promise they’d have a future. Sonny promised.

Joss (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer) discussed whether or not he should turn evidence over on Sonny since he was now in his debt. Dex felt he owed him. Joss worried if he does, he’d be signing his own death warrant. He told Joss that most employers would have left him behind, but Sonny came back and saved him. He said he’d feel bad if Sonny went to prison because of him. She mentioned that he could disappear. He thought Sonny would hunt him down. He’d have to hide from her, too — unless she came. But she had her family to think about. Joss told Dex to make the decision for himself — but he said it was too late. She’s a part of things. They made love, but then a knock on the door from Michael (Chad Duell) shocked Joss.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna (Finola Hughes) realized Lucy was missing, and Valentin started to spin out, trying to figure out how to get away next. Anna said she could fix this — she’d find Lucy and bring her back. Valentin thought she was nuts. He accused her of not being able to own up to screwing up. She thought this was still their best chance — but he could flee. She was going to get the job done. Valentin lost it after Anna walked out. He went to the infamous Jason and Robin bridge, so of course, he ran into Carly (with no Donna in sight), who remarked dryly, “Aren’t you supposed to be dead?” He hoped she’d stay quiet…but Carly wanted to hear why he was playing dead. He told her he was trying to prove his father killed her Uncle Luke. As he explained more of Victor’s crimes, Drew happened upon them and insisted Valentin tell them everything about bringing his father to justice.
Lucy tried her best not to get caught. She spied Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) at the Metro Court talking about the Nurses Ball and listened in as they crowed about maybe doing a better job than her. They discussed splitting up the MC job — with representatives from GH, ELQ as well as Liesl. At least, that was Maxie’s suggestion.
Bobbie left for the powder room, and Maxie learned that a door at Deception set off an alarm. Upstairs, Maxie got taken from behind, but she fought back — hurting Lucy. Once Maxie recovered from the shock, she had a ton of questions, but Lucy wanted to explain why her special touch was needed. She also told Maxie that she had to remain in hiding and couldn’t be as hands-on, but she had Maxie — who she wanted to be her eyes and ears. But the jig was up — Anna caught her there — once again shocking Maxie.
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) looked for help to save his brother and turned to Uncle Victor (Charles Shaughnessy). He was thrilled to see Spencer, who renewed his hope in the family’s future. Spencer feared his brother was in danger and needed Victor’s help to save him.
As Victor was about to explain his terms for helping, Bobbie, missing the powder room by a lot since they were at the bar, interrupted, wanting to discuss her brother Luke. She accused Victor of killing him, which made the older Cassadine angry, and he pointed out she had no proof. She warned him, “One glorious day, you will pay.” He tried to wave her off, but Bobbie made her case to Spencer. She said that he’s named after her brother — how can he sit there with his murderer? Spencer tried to placate Bobbie, but she wished him luck. Spencer promised Victor he would have his loyalty — if he rescued his little brother.
Willow wanted to speak with Drew alone. After Michael left, she said they wanted to marry after the transplant — and she’d love it if he gave her away at her wedding. She wanted Michael to have a kickass wedding reception after all he’d been through. Drew asked what did Willow want for herself?
Michael talked to Brook Lynn about the wedding too. He worried that Willow might be too weak by the time Liesl was able to donate. He said for now. It was a waiting game…to see how long Willow could keep going. Brook Lynn was sympathetic. He worried they were pretending, burying their heads in the sand. He let his fear show and his worry about how it will play out. She was glad he let it out with her since he was always so strong.
Brook Lynn asked Michael if Willow was more open to reconciling with Nina. She was just trying to help out. Michael wouldn’t tell her what to do. With that, Michael went to run an errand, so Brook Lynn went in to see Willow. They talked about Michael, but then talked turned to Chase — and Willow asked Brook Lynn if she still loved him.
