The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, December 27, 2023, features Brook Lynn standing up for her dear grandmother — which impressed Tracy to no end.
Also in this episode, Gregory was admitted to the hospital worrying his sons, Alexis tried to talk sense into her daughters, Cody was put on alert, and Felicia had questions for Robert. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) spent her morning rushing around while Chase (Joshua Swickard) anticipated and met all her needs. Briefcase? Check. Coffee? Check. What a great hubby-to-be.
Speaking of that, Chase was already planning their big day and looking at accessible venues to accommodate his dad. He was aiming for the spring but BLQ suggested sooner. Much sooner, and she eventually told him why. His dad requested it.

Over at Deception, Maxie (temporarily played by Nicole Paggi), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Lucy (Lynn Herring) were at the office for their leadership meeting. Of course, BLQ wasn’t there yet. And, of course, the delay in start time led to huge drama.
Lucy and Tracy took several digs at each other. And, the more they talked, the lower they went with those blows. Lucy even had the audacity to bring up Luke (Anthony Geary) and told Tracy she would one day die alone and miserable.
Brook Lynn arrived to hear those last bits and she unleashed her fury on Lucy. She told her off, called her a slew of names (including gold digger) and told her where to go and how to get there.
Indignant and embarrassed, Lucy slinked away. She wound up at the pub where she then formed her revenge plot. She wanted Scott (Kin Shriner) to seduce Tracy, marry her, and steal her vast fortune! Is he in?
As for Chase, he rushed to the hospital after getting a call his dad was admitted. As the story went, Gregory collapsed during a hot yoga session and his instructor rushed him to GH.
Finn (Michael Easton) ran to his father’s side and wondered if this was Gregory’s disease progressing. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) wondered the same. He agreed to let his doctors run as many tests as they wanted so long as he got to carry out his New Year’s Eve plans.
Speaking of fathers and sons, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) was intent on figuring out if Cody (Josh Kelly) really was Mac’s (John J. York) child (yes, yes he is…as WE all know). Did Cody fake the test? She asked Robert (Tristan Rogers) to help her figure it out.
Unfortunately for her, Robert was definitely not on board. He didn’t like Cody and definitely did not want him to be part of the family. He even outright told Felicia to leave it alone. He didn’t even relent when Felicia questioned a nearby Scott about what he knew and the history of that pesky lawsuit Cody dropped all those months ago.
As for Cody, he got a warning from Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) that Felicia was on to him. She implored him to come clean but Cody was not hearing it. Not only would he disappoint Mac, but he’d also go to jail. He lied his face off about Taub and even signed an affidavit saying he was Taub’s son. If he took that back, he’d face huge charges.
Meanwhile, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) called over her daughters for a candid chat about the surrogacy. She warned Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) of the legal risks they were facing. The egg donation complicates things and takes the surrogacy to the next level.
Alexis pointed out that parental rights would need to be established after the baby was born instead of before and would be an adoption. She even had information and papers at the ready for them to look over. Unfortunately, they were not receptive.
Molly and Kristina stuck up for themselves, claiming they had it all figured out. And, as Kristina pointed out, Molly was the lawyer in the family now, not their mom. Alexis was taken aback but, in the end, she was proud to see her daughters truly had each other’s back.
