Spencer Cassadine Is Horrified
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) started the day happily, staring at his happy one-day-old large baby brother, who smiled at everyone around him like a common Amelia Grace. He wondered how his dad could leave both him and the baby as Sonny (Maurice Benard) listened to him lament. After Sonny left, Ava (Maura West) showed up because she couldn’t wait to blab everything she heard from Ryan.
Ava told Spencer all about how it was Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) who sent Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) to the French boarding school just so she could snag him and make him do Ryan’s bidding. Spencer realized it all made sense because it was Esme who convinced him to stalk Ava as some sort of revenge plot. He admitted that Esme put the bear on Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) bed, set Ava’s car on fire, and left Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) name tag nearby. Soon, it hit Spencer that he did Ryan’s bidding to hurt his father.
Sonny and Laura (Genie Francis) soon began talking about The Hook murders, and he alarmed Laura when he spoke of Heather (Alley Mills) paying for Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) death. Soon, Laura got a text and told Sonny that they needed to check on Spencer. When they got to him, he was practically in tears and told his grandmother that because of him, he and his baby brother no longer have a father.
GH Recap: Heather Talks, Esme Fears
At the PCPD, Heather told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) all about how she committed The Hook murders and why. She was protecting her daughter as any mother would and wore her charm bracelet from Ryan because she thought it was fitting. She even admitted she tried to attack Nikolas (Adam Huss) at Wyndemere, something that surprised Dante and Jordan. Heather also claimed it was Ryan who masterminded their escape from Spring Ridge, which was the opposite of what really happened.
At GH, Esme had a nightmare that Heather entered her hospital room to take her smiling baby just as Laura arrived to calm her down. When Laura offered to bring her the baby, she said she was scared she might hurt it because both of her parents are sociopaths, so she might be one too. It then hit her that she did all the things she was accused of, including trying to kill Oz (Max Faugno) and making and releasing that sex video of Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Cameron (William Lipton).
Laura assured her that just because her parents were bad, it didn’t mean she was before Mac (John J. York) arrived to ask her some questions. She told him Ryan killed the guard at Spring Ridge, but Heather didn’t seem scared of him at all. Esme then asked what would happen to her and Ace. When Mac asked who Ace was, she said he was her baby and then wondered why she instinctually chose that name. Finally, Mac asked Esme if she was ready for a visitor before bringing Heather in.
General Hospital Recap: Liz’s Fate, Joss’s Decision
Scott (Kin Shriner) arrived at the PCPD ready to negotiate with Robert (Tristan Rogers) as he told the DA he had a client who did something wrong, but who had some answers about The Hook killing. Robert didn’t want to listen to him at all but finally agreed to hear what his client has to say.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was prepared for this. After a talk with Cameron about Esme’s lineage — she is Franco’s (Roger Howarth) half-sister — and how much Josslyn hurt him, Liz got a call from Scott. She was already dressed in her business finest as she headed down to the station.
Finally, Joss and Dex (Evan Hofer) discussed his situation with Sonny and had to decide what to do. He could go on working for Sonny while no longer working for his ’employer, he could leave town for a while and go underground, or he could continue doing what he has been doing to bring Sonny down. Because Joss couldn’t stand to let him go, they kept things status quo.
