The General Hospital recap for Thursday, January 25, 2024, shows Esme made a big mistake after she attacked Kevin by leaving behind a valuable clue.
Also in this episode, Molly, TJ, and Kristina shared their good news with their parents. Meanwhile, Diane and Robert agreed to keep the past (and some present) from ruining their romance, and Jordan flirted it up with Brick. Additionally, Finn and Martin agreed to a Hail Mary move. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Laura (Genie Francis) turned up at the station and gave Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Chase (Josh Swickard) a heads-up about Esme. She had it in good faith (well, Heather) that Esme had her memories back and was on the warpath. She begged them to get her off the streets before she did something she’d regret.
It took a bit of convincing, but Dante agreed to get her into a holding cell at least. The trio ran off to The Invader to catch Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). However, instead of finding Esme, they found Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) still unconscious on the floor.

Kevin was rushed to the hospital with Dante and Laura by his side. Back at the office, Chase gathered evidence as Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) looked on. It took mere minutes for an officer to hand Chase a letter from Esme’s nanny inviting her to Toronto. And, shortly after that, it was confirmed she had bought a bus ticket to Canada.
This wasn’t the only big news Alexis got today. She also learned she’s going to be a grandma again! Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) shared their pregnancy news with TJ (Tajh Bellow) first and they discussed their hopes and fears before calling in their parents.
As luck would have it, Sonny was at the Savoy with Alexis so they went there together. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) showed up shortly after and once they were all in the room, the trio spilled the blessed news. In nine months (minus a week), the baby would be born.
Speaking of Jordan, she had an interesting meeting with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) earlier in the day. She invited him over to her apartment to try and recruit him for her rogue mission. A bit of flirting was all it took. That may be her downfall, though, since Brick put those digits in his phone, left, and once alone said “Gotcha!”
Back at the Savoy, Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) had it out about her friendship with Sonny. He didn’t like her being close to the mobster. But, that wasn’t up to him to decide. Besides, what about his past of sidling up to vixens? In the end, Robert and Diane agreed to leave all the drama out of their romance.
Meanwhile, it was the eve of Finn’s (Michael Easton) trial and he was worried sick. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) tried to calm him down but it was Martin (Michael E. Knight) who gave him hope. They all agreed the way to go was to get a PI to track down the mystery oncologist who possibly diagnosed Muldoon with cancer. They prayed they’d find them in time.
