Rebecca Budig currently stars as Hayden Barnes on General Hospital, but the actress has been on other soaps over the years including Guiding Light and All My Children.

Rebecca Budig In The Beginning
Budig was born on June 26 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was then raised in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky for a period of time. She actually majored in zoology at Miami University in Ohio, but she opted to move out to Los Angeles following graduation to pursue acting.

After making the move to LA, Budig started getting small roles quickly and was cast in Aerosmith’s music video for “Livin’ on the Edge,” which is a song featured on their popular album Get A Grip. She eventually made her way to New York where she won the role of Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light.
From Three Months To Three Years
Budig eventually switched networks to ABC and All My Children as Greenlee Smythe, but she was only supposed to be on the show for three months. However, the executives and everyone involved with the show loved her so much that they decided to offer her a three-year contract!
Reality Show Winner
Rebecca Budig won the first and only season of the ABC reality show, Skating with the Stars. The show, much like Dancing With the Stars, paired celebrities with professional ice skaters and they had to compete against each other. Budig beat runner-up Bethenny Frankel and third-place finisher Jonny Moseley.
Getting Personal With Rebecca Budig
Budig married Dr. Daniel Geller in 2000, but that marriage only lasted a few months. She then met former Bachelor star Bob Guiney and the pair tied the knot in 2004. However, after less than six years of marriage, they decided to call it quits. She later wed Michael Benson in 2010 and gave birth to their daughter in 2014.
