The late John Reilly’s real-life daughter, Caitlin, played the late Sean Donely’s daughter, Annie, on his General Hospital tribute episode. We spent an hour watching her skulk around in order to find out that it was all a way for family friends Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Anna (Finola Hughes) to tell her she’s been accepted into the World Security Bureau.
General Hospital Polling
On top of mourning her dad, Annie (Caitlin Reilly) had to deal with the stress of thinking that people were being kidnapped out of her house. Thanks, guys, really sweet of you! But was it enough to make almost 2,000 GH fans bond with Annie and want to see more of her? We have answers!
As Needed Basis
A majority 66% of the audience doesn’t need the newly minted spy as a regular, but she’d be handy to call on for WSB emergencies. Like maybe the next time Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) acts up, or as a way to finally bring down Peter (Wes Ramsey). Maybe even to find Sonny (Maurice Benard)…
Full Time Agent
A much smaller 18% need an agent on call 24/7. There is so much crime constantly going on in Port Charles, and the cops are so completely helpless, perhaps they need to yield to a higher authority. Annie could pick up the mantle from her police commissioner dad and take us back to the days when bad guys were punished. No matter how sexy they may have been.
Family Ties
An almost equal 16% of viewers want any connection to the glory days of GH they can get, and Sean and Tiffany’s (Sharon Wyatt) daughter is close enough. Tiffany was with Luke (Anthony Geary), Laura (Genie Francis), and Robert on Cassadine Island. Sean first betrayed, then made up with Robert and Anna. Those were the days. Annie is a reminder of them. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
