She’s carrying around a big secret on General Hospital related to her birth, but Sofia Mattsson has got some off-screen news about the day she was born, too!
It’s the actress’ birthday! Born on June 24 in Stockholm, Sweden, Mattsson plays Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) alleged”daughter” Sasha and the daytime newcomer is making birthday wishes!
Before landing in Port Charles, Mattsson played a role similar to Sasha in the Lifetime movie titled (what else?) Long Lost Daughter about a woman who went missing as a child!
The actress has family members in the business, too! Her sister Mia works behind the scenes in productions on Swedish projects.
Mattsson is a devotee of martial arts and yoga. She also shares the same Twitter handle of Sofia Mattsson, a Swedish wrestler. Her surname is not only spelled differently than GH star Robin Mattson (ex-Heather), but the two are also not related, as many fans think they might be!
