The General Hospital recap for November 23-27, 2020, features the death of two Port Charlesians, a long-buried secret coming to light, and more.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Life is short and things can change in an instant. One minute Julian (William deVry) is living his best mild-mannered life, and the next he’s a terrorist with a body count. One second Dev’s (Aston Arbab) gabbing to a bartender about a mystery package and the next he’s dead. There’s Dustin (Mark Lawson) proposing marriage to Lulu (Emme Rylan) and now he’s a corpse on a slab.
Lulu went from being perfectly fine to being confined to a hospital bed in a comatose state. And though Sonny (Maurice Benard) spent the majority of two years in the dark, he now knows of Julian’s complicity in Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) baby swap. And he’s fighting mad.
The only constants among the chaos is Jason’s (Steve Burton) devotion to Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) – even at the expense of his own family’s peace of mind, – Ava’s (Maura West) inability to say no to her brother, and Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) position as evil incarnate.
GH Musings
With all the discussion surrounding Laura’s (Genie Francis) long-ago murder of David Hamilton, wouldn’t it have actually behooved Cyrus to also investigate the death of Rick Webber, the stepfather that Laura had long believed she bludgeoned to death with a candlestick holder? (Spoiler alert: It was actually Scotty Baldwin who did the foul deed…though Laura’s still guilty of murdering Theresa Carter…yet another body for Cyrus to dig up.)
Speaking of David Hamilton, in response to Sonny’s question regarding his familial ties, he had a wife and two children, but they were all presumed dead in a tornado that ripped through Port Charles in 1977. Might Cyrus have been one of the Hamilton offspring?
After seeing how fun, and stimulating Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) game of one-upmanship was, who’s the next PC pair you’d like to see go toe to toe? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
